DOA: Dead or Alive-Trailer/Poster

I'm a huge D.O.A fan...I hope the movie finally comes together and gets a release date.

It Has Its In Theaters June 15

It looks like an American attempt at those old kung fu movies... it should be packed with good old harmless fun...

I Hope So I'm Gonna Check This Oneout

It's been online for god knows how long... I think I watched it on DVD in November or something like that last year... haha

Great Quality too

Predictions anyone?

Opening weekend: 665,000 thousand.
Total: 2 million.

I don't think this movie will make more than 2 million. I agree with enter. It's only opening in 500 theatres too... right?

That is the theater count *estimate* for right now. No promotion at all by Dimension, too.

this movie got a higher rottentomatoes rating then F4:ROTSS!

then again that doesnt say much... but im definatly seeing it.

anyone seen it yet?
it just came out here...

Gah* I love the games and I'm a fan of Charlie's Angels "you-go-gurl" type of films so I was pretty hopeful and open minded about this one.
I downloaded it and didn't have the courage to sat through it, even with some skipping to the good "bits" (which are also a big letdown).

No point in seeing this film AT ALL ! Google for Holly Valance/Jamie Presley pictures, you'll be more satisfied. ;)

^ that sucks, but they barely promoted the film and it was a limited release. I don't think anybody was expecting it to make big money.

I'll be watching this soon. I know its probably laughably bad plus its got hot girls in bikinis fighting. Of course, I'll have to watch Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Casablanca, etc. a few times afterwards as a form of cinematic Hail Marys.

What did you expect it went head to head with FF and the ss.

:o your point is moot as Dimension dumped the movie with almost no advertising. It didn't even go up again FF2. It was limited. It could have been the only new film of the weekend and still made about the same amount.

They should have just released it straight to dvd it woould have saved them money and time just like that :"horror" movie captivity.

Problem with that...is that Weinstein/Dimension have a deal with Blockbuster, where only blockbuster can rent the movie out to people, thus cutting dvd rentals in half or more. Of course, with Netflix, free rentals, McDonald's renting movies out, etc, rentals are gettign hard to judge bye. Coming more and more down to dvd sales now.

But yes, should have been DTV anyway.

It was supposed to be released last year or even two years ago, I can't remember. In the summer, especially THIS summer, that theatrical release is the equivalent of a mercy killing.
