That would make him like 20... no way in hell could Arthur Darvil play 20, this isn't 90210.

So no one has any audio drama recommendations? Preferably with the 8th Doctor and a good companion.
I know Darvill doesn't look anywhere near 20, but I always assumed Rory was around Amy's age, and she was born in 89.
Storm Warning was a good one. I also recommend "Invaders From Mars" written by Mark Gatiss. It features the voices of Simon Pegg and Jessica Hines, though be prepared to hear funny American accents all across the board. Both audios feature the companion Charlotte "Charley" Pollard, who is great in Storm Warning and okay in Invaders.
Unfortunately, I've only heard 4 of the 8th Doctor audios set before the "New Adventures" series started. Storm Warning and Invaders are done in the Classic Who format of 4 30-minute episodes that create a standalone serial. The New 8th Doctor Adventures modeled its style after New Who; the episodes are one hour long, and there's a story arc running across each season until the finale. The New Adventure audios feature a companion named Lucie Miller, who starts off irritating and becomes more lovable by the end of the first season. I don't recommend getting into the New Adventures unless you want to drop money on an entire season set ($55 for downloads, $100 to have the CD's shipped to you). I listened to the New Adventures through less-than-legal means.![]()
I read that Bernice Summerfield is in one or two of the 8th Doctor audios. Do you happen to know which those are? She seems like an interesting companion. I'll probably get "Storm Warning" and whichever one(s) Bernice is in.
...I'm listening![]()

Oh, the theories that sparked from that. Looking back, I think the mistake is that Rory should've been born in 1990.
For those that forgot. Alex Kingston was on Craig Ferguson last night
Here's the whole thing in high quality:

I didn't understand where the hell the Omega theories were coming from. It's like fans got so used to seeing a classic villain come back each series, they all just grasped at whichever name they could think of. There was literally no build-up to Omega.
Personally, I thought the bad guy was going to be the Dream Lord or River. In the end, I was satisfied by the arc continuing into the next series rather than pulling an explanation out of nowhere in the last 30 minutes.
Look at what I found for my new desktop background:

Id like to see the Dream Lord return...I didn't understand where the hell the Omega theories were coming from. It's like fans got so used to seeing a classic villain come back each series, they all just grasped at whichever name they could think of. There was literally no build-up to Omega.

So I'm just now dabbling into the older series, and I find it incredibly awesome that the new series follows the massive overall continuity established in the older series, specifically, the 4th Doctor's "Arc in Space" story and the 11th Doctor's "The Beast Below" both dealing with the same instance of solar flares causing the Earth to be evacuated for thousands of years. Now obviously, I'm sure, in the entirety of the show, that there are multiple plot and continuity conflicts, but nonetheless, I find this instance impressive.
