Does anyone here know who the bad guy is in Fantastic Four yet?

Dr Doom must be the villain. He is too awesome! I will get very dissapointed if he isn´t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It´s like not having magneto in X-men. When I think about it, they should really do the same thang in ff reboot as in X-men.

Give the villain role to a really good actor and give us a good origin of him. Also Ben and Reed desrved that as well.

For me, I would like to see someone new. I'm not really familiar with the Rogues Galllery of FF. The only ones that I'm familiar with are Doctor Doom and Galactus. And FOX already used them before. I would like to see a new movie version of those two but for this reboot, I want to see someone new.

too soon for Doom - plenty of others that can carry the film...

Are you saying too soon in the series and they need to build toward him rather than shooting their wad too soon, or do you mean too soon after the previous Doom films?

I would like to see them build toward Doom with maybe some introductions to him as pre-Doom college student and some other info. thrown out in the first film with a goal toward a much bigger story down the road.

I wouldn't hold back just because he has already been featured though. I think that Doom was so far off that a real Doom would be unrecognizable. In some ways I'd like them to feature Doom sooner rather than later just to redeem the character. . . but that's sort of irrational and I can wait.

Man. I wish they went the same idea as the X-men did with Magneto. Big actor, a good origin and a reason why.

We could get the time in school together and then the accident and him getting that armour from those monks and after that he becomes the leader of Latveria.

Make him completelt different this time.

FOX is the villain

And Marvel Studios is the hero and they fight for the rights to the F4 property and in the end Marvel Studios win and a MCU Fantastic Four gets made in time for Phase 3!

Isn't Kang owned by Fox? I'd love to see Kang in that, somehow, since he's not in DofP

What would possibly make you think Kang is controlled by Fox?

Kang's origins began in the Fantastic Four comic, that's why he thought Kang was at Fox. It could be another character where the rights are shared.

Maybe?

BOTH.

It's way too soon to be retelling the FF's origin - as the Amazing Spider-Man proved - BUT to retell the origin AND to make Doom the villain will make this appear as much too much of a rehash to the general audience that it may kill it before it has a chance.

A slower build would be better, but do not force Doom into the story too much - he is not as connected to the FF as Magneto is to the X-Men - and I fear too much screen time with him and Reed before the FF are created will mean a Fantastic Four movie with even less Fantastic Four than we got the first time around.

Considering that they are rumored to be using the "Ultimate FF" origin involving the Negative Zone, I'd say that this is possible.

YES! I'd love to see it be something like Alien or the third act of Sunshine where you have a team with newly developed superpowers trying to fight off Annihilus aboard their ship.

No, *Rama Tut* first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic. Kang first appeared in Avengers. Rama Tut didn't become the early backstory of Kang until well later. Which seeing as he has since appeared far more often in Avengers. . .

Remember, the licenses are almost certainly not "everyone who has ever appeared in a given comic." They have to be reasonably associable with the comic in question.

And then there are shared characters. Fox could get away with using Viper and Marvel can get away with using Quicksilver. I have a feeling that Kang is one of these.
