... we can not say Tom Rothman any more ...
too soon for Doom - plenty of others that can carry the film...
We don't know anything about the film yet/
But Mark Millar may still be in the running.
FOX is the villain
Dr Doom must be the villain. He is too awesome! I will get very dissapointed if he isn´t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It´s like not having magneto in X-men. When I think about it, they should really do the same thang in ff reboot as in X-men.
Give the villain role to a really good actor and give us a good origin of him. Also Ben and Reed desrved that as well.
Isn't Kang owned by Fox? I'd love to see Kang in that, somehow, since he's not in DofP
What if it's Annihilus?

What would possibly make you think Kang is controlled by Fox?![]()
Are you saying too soon in the series and they need to build toward him rather than shooting their wad too soon, or do you mean too soon after the previous Doom films?
I would like to see them build toward Doom with maybe some introductions to him as pre-Doom college student and some other info. thrown out in the first film with a goal toward a much bigger story down the road.
I wouldn't hold back just because he has already been featured though. I think that Doom was so far off that a real Doom would be unrecognizable. In some ways I'd like them to feature Doom sooner rather than later just to redeem the character. . . but that's sort of irrational and I can wait.
Considering that they are rumored to be using the "Ultimate FF" origin involving the Negative Zone, I'd say that this is possible.
Kang's origins began in the Fantastic Four comic, that's why he thought Kang was at Fox. It could be another character where the rights are shared.
No, *Rama Tut* first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic. Kang first appeared in Avengers. Rama Tut didn't become the early backstory of Kang until well later. Which seeing as he has since appeared far more often in Avengers. . .
Remember, the licenses are almost certainly not "everyone who has ever appeared in a given comic." They have to be reasonably associable with the comic in question.
