Define Hero.
Some people consider a guy who died in a mine a hero, but what is so heroic about dying...we all do it eventually.
Quite frankly I think "heroes" are just a luxery not a necessity. People don't have to be inspired by others, they can do it themselves. We like to set a standard for ourselves based on what somebody else has accomplished and we try to strive higher. Also inspirations don't last, they're a trend. Look how temporarily people were inspired by the "heroes" of 9-11, now you barely hear about them with the exception of november 11th day.
