Me trying to finish Jessica Jones season 2

Same with me only three in. Which is strange because JJ1 held me all through and it's just a hare's breath under DD1/2 for me but so far they are making this a close to three hour slog for me. Took me days to find the interest to finish ep 1. I hope I find it gets better as there were parts in season one that made me feel like the first three ESP here have.

Was a chore to sit through for however many episodes it was before Kilgrave and J Jones try to mend his psychotic nature.

Yeah, Jessica Jones S2 was pretty mediocre. It didn't get on my nerves like a lot of Iron Fist did but it definitely didn't catch my interest either. I'm glad I'm not the only one who wasn't impressed. The Punisher aside, I think the Netflix Marvel shows have been on a bit of a decline in the past year.

The whole thing is about a school-age kid being magically transformed by a wizard into an adult superhero. This isn't something that needed to be Snyderized. The suit is fine as is, and will probably look better with proper photography and cinematography.

Even at that kid's age I would have thought that costume was awful. If a wizard can turn him into an adult superhero he can give him a decent costume.

The design is the problem and thats not going to change with finished lighting, color grading, and cinematography. He needs a proper long cape like Superman's. That thing he is wearing looks like a short person's robe that he hung on his back. And replace that stick-on ugly yellow chest emblem with an emblem made from the suit's material, like superman's, or just have some sort of gold lighting bolt on his chest. The red body suit is all right. It at least seems to be the same material and design as Superman's suit rather than cheap spandex.

Why was Snyder even brought up? Nolan managed to give Batman a good costume in Batman Begins without "Snyderizing" anything. Directors of the MCU gave a bunch of their characters good costumes without "snyderizing" anything. Deadpool was given a good costume without "Snyderizing" anything. In all those cases the costumes were tweaked to look better when brought to the screen. When did tweaking a costume to make it look better become synonymous with "snyderizing"? Surely, Shazam could have been given a good costume without "Snyderizing " anything.
