I guess the scene where Judd Nelson goes under the desk and dives between Molly Ringwald's legs doesn't really fly, as pointed out by Ringwald herself, but his character is supposed to be the bad boy anyway, so it's not like he was supposed to be a role model.

How dare an actress dismiss a classic movie she starred in? The cruelty of it all.

She's not wrong. Sixteen Candles, and to a lesser extent, The Breakfast Club haven't aged well at all. I'm just glad my favorite one of his, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, is relatively innocent and free of cringey racist stereotypes and rapey vibes. Apart from the fact that Ed Rooney was a pedophile in real life, of course.

Based on that standard, the first Dirty Harry and the first Back to the Future aged poorly cause they have peeping toms as important characters.
