What was wrong with Hans Zimmer's theme?

It's especially odd that they've used Williams's theme for Cavill's Superman for a third time now. Reusing it in Superman Returns gets a pass because it's in the same continuity as the Donner films. I get it's iconic and all, as far as superhero themes there are few that can match it but hearing it and not seeing Christopher Reeve there makes it feel unearned.

Not for a decade now. And it sucks, I used to have one as close to me as B&N was, so at least if one of the stores didn’t have something, the other one might.

Yeah, I remember spending hours in Best Buy, Borders, and Barnes and Noble after class. The browsing of books and DVDs. All three were within a 10 min walk. Those were the days.
