I didn't see a thread for it, so here you go. A first look (tease, really) at the revamped Cyberdemon. The big reveal is at Quakecon in July. This is the most so far since the very low-key beta announcement attached to preorders for Wolfenstein: The New Order. This has been in development hell for about 5 years and id's had some core team shakeups, so this has something to prove, especially with the recent departure of Doom co-creator and id co-founder John Carmack to Oculus VR.
The Void Engine looks pretty enough to ogle, but damn, they're aiming right at the nostalgia buttons with that art direction and the classic door sound effect. This is supposedly a return to the Doom design of yore rather than the more familiar elements of current shooters, and I hope they manage just that. And is the narration and hybridized UAC weaponry a clue this is yet another retelling hot off the heels of Doom 3? Get hype, Space Marines!

EDIT: Now in better quality.
