Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

Based on what's been said by reviewers who saw the first 8 minutes of Saw 3D we will be blown away by the very first scene. One reviewer said it's EPIC and that he got chills.

However, he did say even though it's a rough cut of the first 8 minutes and things could change. He went on to say that the public trap really isn't that good.

I am sorry I didn't mean to not post a link here are some of the videos. Very compelling evidence IMO. I honestly did not think that the Saw series was this well thought if it does turn out to be the case then, wow.

I always felt that maybe Gordon was in on it in some way. Just because Carey Elwes can play a really good villian if he wants to I really liked him in Kiss The Girls. So if all this turns out to be true that will be pretty cool.

If accurate, very clever.

A while back I posted several videos of a friend of mine that had theories about Gordon. His user name on Youtube is Aniland and he posted here quite a few times as well.

His theories were very well thought out, intelligent, and thought provoking in general.

Has anyone discussed what I consider to be a huge spoiler that is in the trailer?

It looks like Jig Saws wife is in one of the traps. Why would they show that in the trailer? Or maybe I am wrong.

Could be a dream sequence.

Oh, It's definitely Jill. I was just assuming it was Hoffman's way of getting revenge.

Yeah that trailer is a bit cheesy, usually i dont like the whole 3d thing, but i think this is one of the rare films where 3d will actually work in its favour and not be just a gimmick.

As for Gordon working for Jigsaw it certainly looks that way from the clips posted. cool twist if made believable.

If Gordon is working for Jigsaw and it is done right it will be an epic closer to the franchise.

I wonder if Gordon is that self-help guru that is helping other Jigsaw survivors? Only Jigsaw survivors that I know of are Daniel, Pamela Jenkins, Jeff(Saw 1 in the drill chair), Simone, Addy(the woman who was saved by William when she was about to be hanged by barb wire), and the two girls he saved in the merry go round trap. So are all of these victims going to be involved in this film? Seems like a lot of ground to cover if they are.

At this point I'd be shocked if Gordon isn't working with Jigsaw.

The self-help guy is actually Bobby Dagen, Sean Patrick Flannery's character.
He's the main test subject in this movie. What Jeff was to SAW III and William to SAW VI.

Okay, I just wanted to make sure. So my guess is he'll be a self professed self help guru and Jigsaw survivor? Because he definitely wasn't in the past films unless it's one of those introduction to the characters where he survives a game.

A part of me has a feeling that they may swerve the fans/viewers and not have Gordon working for Jigsaw since it's expected now.

"Saw 7" makes me cringe at yet another saw movie. But after seeing the new trailer in theaters SAW3D, I actually will probably check it out. After missing the last 2 im out of the loop though.

Planning on having a Saw marathon really soon before the 7th film. Just need to find the time to sit down and actually start them. But let's be honest here you know they'll make an 8th film.

It's 3D and this is going to make its money back. So don't be surprised if they retcon material just to make an 8th film(even if it's a prequel).

Yeah, I'm going to be having a SAW marathon here pretty soon as well.

I hope they don't make an 8th film. They said this is the last one. I want closure.

It would be epic if SAW 7 ended with
Dr. Gordon locking Hoffman in the bathroom.

I could honestly see that happening, a full circle kinda thing.

I had a thought last night that maybe Jigsaw was not tobin bell but all along Gordon, and Bell was working for gordon. I know its very very unlikely, just popped into my head.

I bet if we have guessed right that gordon is in on it all as the twist and the producers have got wind of this i bet they are pretty annoyed.

i certainly hope the bathroom returns in the 7th film, even if it was just mentioning it. if dr gordon survived and isnt working with jigsaw or hoffman then i would assume he would have let somebody kno where it is. seeing as how it still hasnt been found (saw 5's ending was in the same building) i tend to think he is somehow involved or dead.

id still love to find out dr gordon put the key in michaels eye in part 2, stitched up william in part 6 and perhaps had other dealing through the series we havent found out about. however if he didnt i can accept that

As its meant to be the last film i'm sure we'll get another 'cameo' from the bathroom.

I very much doubt Gordon is working with Hoffman, i reckon Hoffman is working for Gordon without even knowing it. Having his strings pulled yet totally un aware.

Well, Gordon has to have somewhat of a big role seeing as it's been confirmed that Cary filmed new scenes and none of them are considered flashbacks or archived footage.

So it'll be interesting to see what unfolds when the film is released. I'd like to think they wouldn't wait 7 films in order to have him dead all along.

I was thinking of watching all the the films again so I can remember who all the survivors were but don't feel like sitting through them all

I'm watching the first Saw film right now as I am starting my marathon before Saw 7.

Watching Saw 2 right now. I watched Saw 1 last night and I still can't figure out what was Adams purpose in the game? Jigsaw seemed like he just wanted to punish him for being a voyeur.

He had no specific instructions except to stand there praying that Gordon wouldn't kill him.

I've wondered that about Adam as well. I guess with Gordon being back in this movie that Adam's purpose in the game could possibly be explored more in this film.

Watching Saw 2 makes me feel even more sorry for Detective Matthews.

One of the main things I do not like about the Saw franchise is the killing off of interesting characters. Strahm and Matthews definitely should've survived their games.

Yeah, Saw suffers from a lot of random stupidity from people who should've known better.
