Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

Is anyone going to read reviews when it's released? I'm going to do my very best to avoid reviews, discussions, and etc the week it's going to be released.

Oh, and I really, really hope Jill bites the dust in this one. :yay:

I don't think you've seen too much, unless you've seen the ending. I bet, whatever we've seen so far, is just to throw us off.

Yeah, could be. But if you watch the theme song to the first film it totally gives away the twist about the body in the middle of the floor.

How did it give away the body in the middle of the floor? No one saw that ending coming.

I got a feeling that this isn't the final moments of the movie, and am sort of relieved that Jill
is going to bite the dust
however on the other hand I feel bad about it since she was chosen to take over Jigsaw's(Tobin Bell) mantle. And I also believe that Jigsaw is the original Jigsaw,Tobin that is,and that Dr.Gordon is a secondary one. But if this is in fact the truth then it's been done with the Scream movie, sort of. It would be too predictable if that clip is the final moments of the movie and disappointing,I'm going to end up checking out reviews for this movie for sure at Rotten Tomatoes. That cart trap seems way too close to Jill to not allow her to escape.

Watch the music video for the first film, its on the DVD extras. It clearly shows John get off the floor.

I have the DVD and didn't see the extras. But outside of the DVD who in the theatre would know that John was in the bathroom the whole time?

Yeah, I'm going to read reviews, to see if this movie is good enough to see in theaters. It kind of ruined it for me with the 3D.

I'm not watching it in 3D. But I won't read the reviews either. I am employed at a movie theatre and I was told by my boss that we aren't getting Saw in 3D.

So I am happy to know that I will watch the 2D version and those who have seen the rough cut in 3D said it's done fairly well too.

I am set to see this next Friday night. Looking forward to it

Yeah, but the thing is, they filmed it especially for 3D. Or when you're watching it, even in 2D, you'll have all these "3D" things happening, if that makes sense.

Yeah i know it was a good twist. But what i'm saying is i'm sure the music video played on some music channels around the time of the films release, thus giving the twist away.

I am really excited about this movie. I am just interested in seeing how it all ends. Been a fan since Saw 1 but my excitement with the franchise faded a bit with the lackluster saw 4 and 5. So far Saw 1, 6 are my faves so if Saw 7 is as good as Saw 1 and 6 I will be a happy camper.

I am trying to see if I can go to the midnight showing next week. I want get those limited edition Saw 3D glasses. Plus movies like Saw are so much more fun when you watch them with sold out crowds in the theaters. For example, I saw all the Saw movies in theaters opening weekend(except for the 1st one) and everytime I saw them the theater was sold out. They just happen to be some the most fun times I have had at the theaters.

Anyway, next Friday can't get here soon enough. Trying not to look at any more clips until then.

I actually liked IV. V was alright, except for the 5 becomes 1 trap. That was a waste! And the acting was terrible in that. I just liked the Hoffman/Strahm storyline.

I heard that there will be 11 traps! And the movie length is like 89 minutes. I wonder if there will be any story....too many traps.

Yeah i've head 90 minutes and 11 traps, not sure how they'll wrap it up in that time.

That said box office will be up on this one with the added price of 3D tickets so no doubt there will be a eighth film.

Hopefully not. I want an ending. But yeah, this movie will end on a cliffhanger. It has to.

So the movie is 90 mins or so and is rumored to have 11 traps? I don't know if I like that or not. That means that the story is going to get tossed to the side for the sake of having more traps for 3D. Well I hope they have a decent amount of time for the story to go along with the traps somewhere in the 90 or so mins. If it just traps and little story I will be disapointed :(.

Also did anyone see that trailer on the website. The one where it shows people in a trap but its out in the public. People are watching and are all shocked and whatnot lol. Looks like Jig is going public with his traps. He wants everyone to know about him and his work.

Yeah, hopefully some of the 11 traps go by fast.

Yeah, that public trap. People that have seen the whole seen said it was cheesy as hell. They basically didn't like it. I guess, the acting was horrible.

They could have like 4 traps in 2 minutes though, doing that flashy sequence stuff they do. I reckon thats how certain traps will be done.

Yeah its gotta end on a cliff hanger, be kinda odd if it dident, plus i dont think the producers will want everything neatly tied up, they themselves must have the idea of making more.

Plus i read they said they had ideas for up to 10 films, just the declining box office put them off.

Well the reason there are so many traps in the movie is because its in 3d. So they have to have something to jump off the screen lol. The public trap looked okay not great. Its interesting because now the public has seen jigsaw's traps up close and personal. So far in the movies the general public has just read and seen the news stories about Jigsaw.

What made the first one so great was that Jigsaw got away at the end.

I predict three scenarios for SAW VII's ending.

A. Everybody dies if they want true closure.

B.) Hoffman cheats death and escapes again.

C.) Hoffman dies / something bad happens to him. Dr. Gordon continues Jigsaw's work.

If Dr. Gordon is involved with Jigsaw, it'll be anticlimactic. Well, to me it will be.

I hope the second option happens!

I think people will be pissed if Hoffman escapes again. He needs to die or be locked in the bathroom by Gordon. I know it sounds obvious but seeing as Hoffman escaped in Saw 6, my best guess he's probably biting the dust in this one.
