Drinking and driving

I can't believe this is even a post. And the people condoning him to drive even with a buzz. This is so wrong. It doesn't matter if it's 1/2 of a mile, 3 miles or 100 miles... HE SHOULD NOT DRIVE DRUNK! I don't care if they say it's only a buzz.... buzz is drunk. Driving impared is not smart. And what will this girl say anyway? If she's smart she'd think he was an a** for driving drunk to get to her in the first place.

It's not fair. I've lost three very good friends to a drunk driver. They all died while he lived and that pisses me off to this day.

And to those in this thread who encouraged Fred to go for it for some *****, I guess it's fine with you because he was not driving (if he did take your advice) anywhere near anyone you care about.

Same reason my brother is gone as most of you know. Driving drunk is one of the most irresponsible and selfish acts a human being could do.

You already know I was being sarcastic when I mentioned that, everyone here knows I'm the last person to even suggest it as I don't drink anyways. I'm sure I'm back in your good graces now. :o

Do it. Just make sure that when you swerve, hit a tree instead of another car. And if you're having trouble focusing on the road, close one eye.

OR Close both eyes and drive using only your hearing...if you hear MOOOO'ing....you are in a field :oldrazz:

Sorry to hear about your brother, Brad.
And I totally agree on your statement about drunk driving.

Anger clouded my vision. Normally I'd be able to spot the sarcasm but I was overcome with emotion and didn't notice it.

If he harms a leave on that tree...!!
*tree-hugger*

ok im drunk. Should I risk driving 3 miles to this chicks house or no? im actually buzzing not drunk.

is there any remote chance you might get laid? :ninja:

ok, ok, ok, like the commercial says: "Buzzed driving is drunk driving . . . . obeythelaw"

Seriously, is this who the military is recruiting lately?

Don't drink & drive!!

You might hit a bump and spill your drink! Now THAT's alcohol abuse!

Fred's going to end up like that drunk driving victim who has to put Vaseline on her eyeballs because she has no eyelids anymore. :csad:

I bet it's really greasy when she cries. :(

^Why would you "have to"? Why can't you call a cab instead? If you think you can get behind the wheels for whatever reason while intoxicated, why can you just pick up the phone and call someone? Because it's not a 'manly" thing to do?

well thier arent cabs everywhere my friend,my town has no cab service, thier are adds for cabs but it isnt a cab serivce its people who charge people to drop them off places, not where they want to go.anyways, somtimes you have to,someones in trouble or you have to get somewhere for someone or somthing, school, work, whatever it may be but like i said,if you have to do it carefully and you should have somone with you to keep you awake.

Never, never, never, never. It's such a bad idea and totally not worth ruining your life or anyone else's over.

If there are no cabs, can't you call someone you know instead or have a designated driver when you go out drinking. "... do it carefully"? How can you do anything "carefully" when you can't think straight when you're drunk? The "someone" who's with you, will that person be drunk too? If not, why don't that person drive instead? All the reasons you gave sounds like nothing more than excuses... excuses that could lead to big trouble. But anyway, that's your choice. If you are able to make such excuses while you're sober, I'd like to see how you think when you're buzzed/drunk.
