Well for a season 2 if they want me to think Keiran Atreides is a swordmaster, they better work more on his fight choreography. You could see him at times telegraphing the moves. The actor didn't seem comfortable doing it.

Finally caught up with this. Have only read the first ever Dune book but had no trouble following this and some of the stuff set up intrigues me. Will watch a 2nd season.

Indira Varma just needs to be in every sci-fi and fantasy show at this point.

A reminder that Varma was originally cast as the Empress and even shot one episode before they scrapped it and filmed it again with a different director. They ended up replacing her with Jodhi May due to scheduling conflicts, so it seems that they're giving her another role to make up for it.
