I am still terribly disappointed that Jared Leto cannot play Leto Atriedes...the role that was born to his namesake... Leto. It should have been there in the contract written in stone. I so wish they would just fire Oscar Isaac so they can replace him with Jared Leto. Both are talented actors but Leto is the more method, versatile, dedicated and exhilarating of the two in terms of performance abilities. Plus it fits and has a better ring and create more media hype.. Leto as Leto! That would be the buzz of the headlines around on programs such as ET and Access Hollywood.

You know, I think it's actually possible they could make the first film without casting Feyd. From what I can recall Feyd doesn't do much in the book until after the fall of House Atriedes, if they needed to do a movie 2 boss villain intro to up the stakes, they can "save" Feyd for the sequel.

Not to come off like too much of a thirst-riddled Instagram twink, but...

There is a post in the Dune Saga Facebook Group (can't seem to copy the image over atm) that a makeup artist posted on their Instagram revealing unannounced actors such as Ricky Whittle, Lucas Hedges, Saoirse Ronan and Viola Davis along with a few others that were hard to pinpoint who they are? The photo(s) got immediately taken down but the post I bring up has a side-on view of the actors. There was one taken in front too, apparently so no doubt somebody would have captured that pic too.

I can see Lucas Hedges as Feyd I suppose. Whittle could be either Kynes or maybe Jamis. Saoirse Ronan would be a dead giveaway for Princess Irulan and Viola could be either Shadout Mapes or maybe Ramallo.

Still, some of the actors in the photo were guesses, so a few of those may not be who I mentioned like Whittle, for example.
