For sure,everything indicates that it will happen...the only question is whether the movie will be good enough to attract viewers who otherwise woudnt give a chance to a Transformers movie.

If it has a great word of mouth it will make a killer at the box office and with the DVD's which bring just as much money as the grosses from the tickets.

Wait but nowthat I think about it....Chronicals of Narnia made roughly 750 million worldwide!! and its on the top ten selling DVD list and Prince Caspian bombed!!! ....What the HELL happened? seriously.


Hopefully Transformers doesn't follow this track...(I thought the first film was entertaining.) but yeah seeing how Prince Caspian was such a disappointment perhaps DVD sales don't mean as much as people might have thought. yikes

Which one's do you guys have in your collection?

Of all these movies I only have Transformers and Iron Man but because their good movies I'm not one of those imbeciles who spends money on crappy movies just because their #1 at the box office.

I mean seriously who the hell liked National Treasure and Alvin & The Chipmunks for it to make that much money in sales, I bet the people that but these movies just view them once and then they get tossed in the closet.

Most of those movies especially those you've mentioned are favored a lot by kids.

And in the DVD market kids are the name of the game...the two best selling DVD's of all time are Finding Nemo and Shrek 2.
A Barbie straight to DVD cartoon has sold 3 million copies which is more than There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men for example.

Just like music sales,where the Britney's and the Backstreet Boys' sold over 10 million copies with several albums,quality is not a factor at all.
