Dwayne Johnson to go on a Rampage

They'll ramp it up almost immediately come next week probably.

Those posters are pretty cool, and kind of give me an 70's/80's feel, which I love. But I wasn't sold on that trailer. :(

I'm surprised he hasn't be sued for his movies making peoples eyes bleed.

Well, Boll's now threatening legal action. This prick's gonna lose. He has NO case.

His case will get thrown out in the first minute when the defense states it was clearly based off a video game called "Rampage" that is decades older than the dribble Boll is spewing.

Yesterday the Rampage's official twitter released a new spot and it appears that George can talk....

This looks like a tonne of fun, might consider seeing at cinema.

As an animal lover, it’s hard not to vibe with #RampageMovie’s sweet relationship between @TheRock & gorilla George. It’s the driving force of the action & its beating heart.

RAMPAGE is a fun time at the movies. Just big monster smashing fun. @TheRock sells it but he has some tough competition from the sweet, funny and smashy George (@theJasonLiles). Great popcorn flick to escape to! #RampageMovie

RAMPAGE is the ultimate guilty pleasure. Brad Peyton has created a big budget B movie & Dwayne Johnson delivers his most outrageous performance to date. #Rampage is the ultimate monster movie and is non-stop campy fun. [BLACKOUT]Did I mention that Dwayne Johnson fights a giant flying wolf?[/BLACKOUT]

Some nice reviews so far, good to see.

Between Tomb Raider, Ready Player One and so far Rampage, is the video game movie curse finally lifted?

I think there are plenty of movies inspired by video games that have turned out great: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Wreck-It Ralph, Ready Player One, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (well more "pretty good" than great, but still...).

The trick is actually taking a game property and translating it directly to screen. So far, no one has succeeded, although I missed the most recent Tomb Raider.

I actually really liked Tomb Raider, but yeah I get your point.

So lemme guess - this one gonna somehow pencil in 800-900 million too?
