Dwayne Johnson to go on a Rampage

We're not going to Rock movies to see him do Hamlet.

the movie was great if you take away those awful villains man so cringy
it's worth it just for the last 20 mins and I
started tearing when George "died"
great relationship with Rock and George wanted
and Rock's sidekick was pointless

So did I.... :csad:

It was kinda lame how they backtracked out of it tbh.

Also Malin Akerman's brother, most annoying movie character in a while? Dude was a complete cartoon.

150 million?

I have no faith in humanity anymore LOL.

Rampage opened to huge numbers in my country. The OW in India is bigger than Australia, Brazil, Italy, Spain etc. It's madness. We love DJ. :D :D

He was less annoying in the final two seasons of the Office.

Some good news for you is that Rampge won't/can't break out like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

It also won't be able to get close to San Andreas (the prev. Brad Peyton/The Rock/WB movie). Rampage will probably just crawl over 400 million in conducive circumstances but even that's not certain because A:IW will kill it's legs (domestic and overseas) at the BO. That'll probably make you happy. ;) :D

And suddenly everything is right in the world again. LOL

I gotta hand it to Dwayne though - he's definitely carved out his niche.

Knew that would make you happy. :D :D Rampage is still going to do decent to good business but A:IW's presence will make it crash hard.

Yup. The 151.5 million WW OW indicates that he is indeed a legit 'movie star' and a bankable draw. Folks wanna know what The Rock is cooking. :D :D

I think I misread that earlier. I was thinking domestic, not WW. Whoops.

Saw it yesterday and I found it quite enjoyable, despite finding the middle of the film somewhat draggy. The cg is pretty dazzling. The Rock is solid(no pun), but Jeffrey Dean Morgan is stellar. It's pure popcorn at its best.

The CG especially on George was mind bending.

I saw it and it was pretty much what I expected. Dumb fun that I'm probably going to forget about in a few days. The Rock was The Rock, there was plenty of destruction porn and...those are pretty much the selling points. For what it's worth, I did enjoy it more than the kinda similar Pacific Rim: Uprising.

But was Jeffrey Dean Morgan's direction literally just "Be Negan except nicer and in a suit"? That cracked me up.
