Kingdom Hearts, Golden Sun and Mario are core titles. There's no way around that. They may be opened to casuals too, but they're core titles

Face it bud the only reason they did the type like Kingdom Hearts is because it was demanded. But come on this conference is all casual. Next year it won't even be hard core at all. I am looking forward to the G4 guy's responses

How can it be all casual when they've shown several core titles? They are leaning more that way definitely, but we have seen them, you can't just write them off.

Oh God....Wii's show is almost as awful as last years. Atleast last year they had the, "It's so bad it's hysterical" vibe as everyone shook around on the music game like ADD kids off their riddlin. This year it has that angry lady in the pantsuit giving a very dry announcement to every title.

Then there's the titles themselves. The FF and Resort game had PS2...almost N64 textures and overall graphics. Ok, I can get past graphics since I still enjoy NES games. However the others....Women's murder club mysteries, a tween dress up pretty girl game? Oh God....it burns, it burns!!!

It also doesn't help matters when they start off with that, "Miyamoto-san has waited 15 years to create a Mario this revolutionary, now we bring you Mario in the 4th dimension!"....then it turns out to be 4 player Super Mario Bros. 1....

I had to take a break. I'm not trying to be a downer to Wii owners, but if I owned a Wii this conference would be pissing me off badly.

How can it be all casual when they've shown several core titles ?

The core titles will no doubt be specifically made to cater to the casuals. The 64 Mario's & Zelda's probably last longer & are more challenging then these games Nintendo Hard Core as far as I am concerned right now is dead. I hope I am proven wrong though

Where the hell was this precision thing when the Wii first launched ? I am not hopping on this band wagon

I do hope it doesn't become manditory for future games. It'd suck if you had to purchase one for every controller for future gaming.



I'll echo others on here tho, Kingdom Hearts had great graphics for a DS title.

Ok, I'm sorry, but you guys are just being silly now. We are seeing more casual stuff, but you are all just focusing in on it. We just saw new Golden Sun, Kingdom Hearts, Mario, Mario & Luigi and maybe this C.O.P game. There is some good going on here people

I agree CB, if I were a Wii owner...I'd feel offended right now. Maybe Nintendo will will shock and awe us in the final half...but so far....it's been pretty bad.

When you have games on an older system that are longer & more challenging & the newer ones are shorter & mde for the casuals there is a problem if the game is gimped. You must not be an old time Nintendo fan to understand
