You won't need a 3D TV. I am assuming they are going with the older 3D tech, since 360 lacks HDMI 1.4 or 1.3. That is needed for the newer 3DTV tech.

Yea i didnt think i would, but i think its kind of pointless to do the 3D when the consumer isnt really ready for it. Same goes for movies. They are advertising these movies in 3D and ppl just dont have the tech in their homes yet, be it a 3D tv or 3D compatible media player.

The console versions will probably use anaglyph red/blue and the pc will use Nvidia 3d vision which uses shutter glasses and anaglyph. The shutter glasses require 120hz and anaglyph works on standard monitors.

While the Xbox 360 is capable of supporting full stereoscopic 3D games like Avatar: The Game, and forthcoming titles like Crysis 2, Microsoft is leaving the choice to developers rather than implementing 3D as a standard feature of the system with 2D-to-3D conversion, 3D features of the Xbox Live dashboard, and movies. The reasoning? Slow adoption rates.
