I wonder what Microsoft thought when people modded the Master Chief & Marcus Fenix for Unreal Tournament 3

Those were pretty bad ass. Samus was in there, too.

Why can't more console games support mods? I know it's out of the question for Microsoft since they want everything done through Xbox Live (thus meaning more control, and more opportunity to charge money for stuff), but PS3 games are perfectly capable of supporting mods and conversions if only publishers would allow it, like with UT3.

But they're not good buddies anymore. EA owns Bioware, not Microsoft. And EA will make the decisions of which games go to which consoles, not Bioware. And EA has proven time and time again that they care about only one thing. Money.

Which is why I said "Before EA moved in and ruined the relationship." I'm still bothered by that too. Just when I get over EA as an evil empire they buy up one of, if not my favorite developers.

At least they HAVEN'T been pimping them out. That's a plus.

I agree. Can't really hold it against EA. You can hold against them the fact that their Madden games have blown ever since they bought the exclusive NFL license, but you can't hold wanting to make money against them.

It'll come. Like I said, they won't wait for ME3 to release the franchise on PS3. There is more money to be made by using the first two games to hype up ME3 on PS3 than there is in releasing an anthology a year after ME3 is released for 360. The days of non-first party exclusives are long gone.

I wouldn't. Bioware can talk out of their asses about making it a proper continuation of the franchise, but the fact is MMORPGs are just not capable of the same kind of story telling as a proper offline game.

Haha thats the damn truth, altho, i quite enjoyed Madden 2010. Thought they finally put some effort into the game since 05.
