E3 2010

"An all new party game for the Wii."

As if there are aren't enough already.

Aside from Zelda this is making Microsoft look good so far

As much as I enjoy Zelda, and I HATE to say this but I'm kinda getting over the series. I'll buy this, and I'll probably enjoy it but seriously...they NEED to take the series somewhere new.

Yeah, I know know what you mean. It seems like Nintendo is just content with remaking the same game over and over again.

Where would you like it to go? Each one is distinct enough and adds enough new elements to keep it from being stale. I don't want a Zelda that goes so drastically away from its roots that its unrecognizable. Nintendo does exactly what it needs to do. It adds enough to keep it fresh while also staying true to itself. You couldn't ask for more.

New series in what way?

I wonder if Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo know the casual crowed do not watch e3/read gaming news?

Wii Party...isnt this basically stuff we've already seen?

OK, Nintendo's show is fail so far. Zelda was OK, but it did not do anything to push the envelope, and in many ways it looked like a downgrade from Twilight Princess. Everything after that was fail, and when Reggie brought out the sales numebrs I lost all hope.

If Sony and Microsoft had sold the most systems, they'd boast, too.

Exactly. When Wii was first announced, countless critics said that it was a gimmick and the end of Nintendo. Now Nintendo is back on top and Nintendo has every right to brag about that.

Excited for Golden Sun! Loved the first one for GBA, so very much looking forward to this = D

Indeed Nintendo should be proud. The core & hard core players might not like the Wii but all they need are the casuals really

They took the series in an interesting direction with Majora's Mask. While I wouldn't want them to copy that, I would like to see them do something different and take more risks like they did with that title.

I want voice actors and a more...cinematic experience, I'm not saying mgs cinematic but way more than any of the zelda games have been, and maybe a bit more mature tone/theme, not M mature, but maybe T, tho I know that will never happen, just my personal wishes

Daniel Craigs Goldeneye!

That would've been far more exciting if it weren't online last night. The internet era has in many ways destroyed many things. :(

None the less, they're getting into Epic Mickey. Between Golden Sun, Goldeneye, and Epic Mickey, they're starting to pick up. Its like they were just pushing the obligatory sports and party games out of the way early and are now getting to the real stuff.

We haven't seen enough of Skyward Sword to say they haven't.
