I don't know, I didn't really see it. I mean, his helmet looked kind of like that, I guess, but that's about it. The rest of the game, especially how it played, looked really different to me. No shield, traditional health set up, way faster gameplay and pace, and none of the designs outside the helmet struck me as very Halo-like.

I agree with your general assessment. Just something about the MP and opening cinematic that screamed Halo to me.

I am actually a fan of these, as long as the studios are also producing new content. For a game like Dishonored, it is rather perfect. So many missed it the first time around. It also works well as a GOTY style edition. I know I will be picking it up.

So, Fallout 4 is the last game? Well, I was kind of hoping for something about a sequel to The Evil Within.

Doom looks good (visually), but nothing that really seemed particularly interesting. The take downs were kind of cool. But the way the audience cheered every time they pulled out a new weapon (typical weapons) seemed rather gratuitous to me.

True. The major problem I have with these smaller shows, is that it takes away from the MS and Sony pressers. They still run long, but are thin on content.
