This was probably the best Marvel trade I have ever read. I know this comic has been out for ages, but I'd like to know what you guys thought of it.

Also, if somebody could explain how Franklin Richards became Galactus?

Apparently according to wiki, he gained the powers of Galactus by believing himself to be Galactus.

But how did he get the powers to make himself whatever he believed? That I didn't understand, and how Rick Jones was able to create superheroes out of his desires.

I really enjoyed Earth X. It brought me back into comics after i thought I had to give them up. Alex Ross's character designs in Wizard, of Colossus and Captain Britain, were so awesome I had to buy it.
I loved the story, even the later Universe X and Paradise X. But after all those comics I was upset that Marvel cut the ending short. It seemed rushed at the end of Paradise X. the Best was Earth X though.
Loved it. Loved the designs and the stories around the characters (except maybe Logan's).

Heavy Spoilers below:

Reed Richards had killed Galactus, sort of, turned him into a star.
But the Universe needed Galactus to keep the Celestial population from growing too big, like a circle of life thing. Celestials planted Celestial eggs in planets, which I guess caused life or super powers or something, and Galactus would eat some to keep their numbers low... I guess.
Franklin Richards was born with the power to manipulate reality. So he turned himself into Galactus to save the day.
Just like that. Don't remember why he had to belive he was Galactus, maybe so that he wouldn't be tied to Earth.
I haven't read this in a while, but I think thats the whole thing about Franklin/Galactus right?

Franklin Richards is probably the most powerful mutant in the universe due to his ability to adjust or morph reality to whatever he wishes. He wants to be Galactus...then he is. He wants to save all of the superheroes by creating in his mind a pocket universe, then it happens. He wants to have sex with Claudia Schiffer, Anne Hathaway, and Teri Hatcher at the same time then bam their in his bed naked, ready, and willing. :ninja:

Yeah the futures of Colossus and Captain britain were very cool, and so was Tony stark and Reed Richards. Every character seemed to have been improved upon, even fat and balding Wolverine.

I loved the ideas he had for Galactus and the Celestials. It puts everything in perspective, and the most shocking was the Asgardians, and Hellenic gods and seeing them rise up to save Earth, but then drop like dead flies after they lose belief in themselves and Loki being the hero instead of naive Thor. There were more heroics in this comic than all of Civil War, Infinity Gauntlet Saga, and any giant Marvel crossover combined.

I like how you describe all this unlimited power but in the end it reverts back to animal instict to bang. :hehe:
