I recently won an auction on the 18th of this month, the seller promised next day delivery and i'm still waiting. i've sent him 2 messages to find out whats happening but i've got no response, what scares me now is the same shirt or a similar on has been listed in a new auction.

what can i do

File a report in ebay about the user, ebay will send it to him and if you still don't get the shirt or he ignores you file a fraud report with ebay. Also did you read his user notes from other winners? Any negative?

Or send a email with "or further action will be taken" on the end of the email

i'm looking into that, the item was got on the 18th and he promised next day delivery, the seller only lives in england so it's not like it's an international shipment

Something could have happened in the seller's life that would prevent him from making his promise of sending next day, especially with all of the positive f'back.

- illness
- death in family
- crisis or unusual stressful event

These things happen.

Even if the guy says next day I don't usually expect it then. People have jobs, lives, etc. maybe he got too bogged down in work to get to the post office. Notify ebay, send him another note and wait a week till you take further action.

Plus if you won it on the 18th (esp. depending on the time since cut off time is early afternoon), I would imagine he wouldn't get it out until the next day (which was Friday). I would wait at least until least Monday to start asking him about it.

i've found out the guy is a fake selling fake signed shirts trying to sort it out with paypal

this really pisses me off

If this is the case you need to submit a claim with paypal to get your money back. The sooner the better. I think there is a 45-day window for doing this. Give them as much details as possible including how you found out he's selling fake goods.

i did submit a dispute but stupidly closed it by mistake, therefore pay pal says they can not help me at all

I agree. Call ebay tomorrow and ask them what are your options

i checked with ebay on the live chat and they told paypal handles the money, they can only deal with possibly removing the seller

i contacted paypal again and pleaded my case, they reopened the case and are now just awaiting the sellers response. i have sent him 5 messages over 3 days and he hasn't answered once so hopefully he doesn't to them and i get a refund

looking at a few announcements it seems adidas, nike and a few teams are after him for this


it's a live and learn thing
