Sci-Fi Electric State

They aren't utter crap. Not to me at least. They're various degrees of fine.

But that isn't because their post-MCU work is bad. It's just what it is.

I am very mixed on their MCU work personally. I loved IW and found Endgame very disappointing. But I really liked the look of this trailer. I'll be watching this one.

I thought I was the only one here. It's usually the opposite I think or people who just love them both.

Definitely not alone buddy. I felt like Endgame dropped the ball on the majority of really good things IW set up.

Gross!

So... part iRobot and part Iron Giant?

It looks okay, but not exciting like most Neflix movies.

Looks like another generic movie of the week from Netflix.

I should be more excited for a movie from the same team behind Winter Soldier/Civil War/Infinity War/Endgame but the trailers have done nothing for me. And Millie Bobby Brown's comments dismissing movies in general has put a dent into my enjoyment of her work.

The Russo’s are hacks at this point: they’re been given all the resources and power since Endgame and haven’t at all lived up to their own hype.

Maybe they need Marvel as much as Marvel needs them, but I can’t see their new Avengers films turning this around.

"It's an action-adventure comedy, but it's also very poignant, and there are intense themes in it reminiscent of the tones that we played with in the work we did with Marvel," Joe says. "It's a big, commercially appealing film that hopefully touches on some intense subjects in a way that gives you a very rich storytelling experience."
Are we sure these guys aren't just AI in human form? The way these supposed creatives talk about movies has all of the passion of an executive at a shareholders meeting. They have zero personality, and think stringing a few corporately-approved buzzwords together makes them sound hip.

Avengers is going to be a disaster.

"I am not dying to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch!" had me laughing :funny:

Sounds like the visuals of this movie match its tone. Shocking.

And they spent 320 million dollars on this?

A movie that has Chris Pratt in a starring role that's NOT Guardians?

Sounds like it’s so bad you have to watch just to find out how much? I love those films
