End of the credits scene

If FOX is smart, they would replace Xavier's new host body scene with a scene of Scott waking up either on the other side of the lake, or in a hospital.

Better yet, show a severely injured and cut up Scott standing over Xavier and Jean's graves, looking at the school, then walking away.

If FOX did this, then at least fans would know that they attempted to appease them. Otherwise, its like despite a year of outrage, Fox went ahead and did what they wanted...

Still, the fact that it is never shown means that there is a chance for him...

Why even bring Cyclops back? He's been massively underused in the past two films. I'm not sure they'd want to keep a role open for him.

Cyclops is second only to Logan in popularity. He is an icon of the franchise, and just because he was underused in the past, doesn't mean he couldn't shine in a future movie.
