Good bye Crowphie. It was inevitable that she was leaving the Crows. Writing made it impossible for her to stick around. And hooboy, that ending.

Yo, that ending is messed up. Though you could see it coming... Luke better not die.

It was another good episode. Surprised me with the 'zombie' aspect. My one big question though, was why was Jacob staying at the clinic rather than going to work, what with all the zombies showing up? Seems he would have done better there, directing the Crows, rather than running sutures.
And I don't agree with Sophie's decision to leave the Crows. She should have at least gone to Jacob with her concerns, whenever he decides to show up, and see what he was willing to do, esp since the Crows are his. Leaving just comes off as a retreat, especially when they apparently need all the level-headed operatives than they keep.
As to Luke, it was a surprise, but also not a surprise. I'm sure he'll survive though. And hopefully that Crow, whatever his name is, will go down hard.

Finally though, I still just keep wanting them to get back to Kate and Alice. There was far too little of them in this and the last few episodes.

Just when you think Rachel Skarsten's acting can't be more impressive, another episode drops. She should be nominated for awards. Best, most complex and compelling villain in the CWverse right now.

I’m not sure if this is by accident or design but…

Currently, all the good guys on this show are persons-of-color. And you’d be hard pressed to name a white character who isn’t some form of villain (e.g., Alice and the amnesic Kate) or, at least, morally compromised (e.g., Jacob). There’s also, of course, that nasty guy from the Crows. Moreover, with the white cop shooting Luke and Sophie quitting the Crows, the notion of “ACAB” seems like it’s being fully embraced.

I’m not necessarily opposed to this sort of depiction. Indeed, in skillful hands, it could be quite interesting. But I’m surprised that the producers and network are going in this direction. Isn’t it too radical for the CW mainstream? Even with a “black centric”/ “black positive” show like Black Lightning, there are a few “token” characters on both sides of the moral ledger. E.g., Uncle Gambi is a loyal ally; Whale is a villain.

That's one thing I really don't like. They've shown Sophie working well with other Crow agents, and then suddenly all of them are 'bad?'

I mean, the entire concept of the Crows is horrific. There has only been slight mentions of what having a privatized police force means. I mean, after the past year, I do appreciate them going full ACAB. And not exactly washing away Sophie's sins as part of the system like they are clearly trying to do with Joe in Flash.
