It's a reboot but borrows several shots from the Arnie movie, I think the concept done with a bigger budget and talent, would have made for a good streaming series.
This looks all kinds of generic and awful, but I'm honestly not surprised considering this is a reboot nobody asked for and it doesn't even look like they put that much money into it either.
I actually love the original Arnold film too and think it's one of his most underrated action films next to End of Days and its sad seeing it reduced to cheap, VOD schlock like this.

Unfortunately Eraser was the movie where the box office shine started to dull for Arnie, I think had it been a bigger hit it might have become a franchise for him.
“You want to **** with me”.I guess I might be in the minority, but I've always loved End of Days and never got the hate for it although I know its not up to par with Arnold's earlier films or the classics like Terminator 1 and 2, True Lies or even Predator.
Gabriel Byrne and Kevin Pollack alone make it worth watching IMO and damn does it make me miss the days of those campy, big budget 90's B movies like Starship Troopers, Anaconda, Deep Blue Sea etc.
Lmao, I had forgot about that. I really need to rewatch End of Days, Eraser and The 6th Day, it feels like an eternity since last watch and I've forgot so much.“You want to **** with me”.
“Your a choir boy compared to me a choir boy”
Lol Arnold called the devil a choir boy and sent him back to hell lol. BAD ASS.
Sorry to hear that.Unfortunately Eraser was the movie where the box office shine started to dull for Arnie, I think had it been a bigger hit it might have become a franchise for him.
