Ever wondered what I sound like?

I have only seen your initial video... which video are you speaking in your normal voice? I cannot see it at work but I'll give it a look when I get home.

That pretty much is my normal voice. In the second video on this page, I'm making a honest attempt at being understood and trying to talk American. :hehe: which as you'll see isn't much different at all.

I apologize for being a smartass in my prior post then. You are perfectly intelligible... though it does slightly sound as if your tongue is swollen... but maybe it's just me. Myself, I have a stuttering problem at times. Rewinding of speech is the norm for me... inebriation helps my problem.

So will you be seeing "Up In The Air"? :p

I think I might. That's basically what I did but I did a lot of stuff overseas too. And I worked for one major company so i wasn't being outsourced.

Oh, that's fine. What sucks is if I get excited or something is funny, I can't even understand myself. :o it sounds like a bunch of noise and nonsense.

You know something...anyone hear ever heard of that damn Clooney vs Godzilla video series? It was taken off Youtube before I ever got around to seeing it, but it was just this fan edit of Clooney movies edited into one or more Godzilla movies.

EDIT- Nevermind...it's still up.

Ummmm...well...when I was younger I just didn't talk a lot or give it my all in speech class. Even if I were to give it my all in speech class during school...I had like 6 different teachers from like 5-17...and I doubt they could ever get rid of my accent. Seriously, I'm trying everyday to sound American, but when I hear myself record I sound like some dude from Romania or Bulgaria or France or the U.K. (Which isn't a bad thing)

And no I'm never taking speech again. I'm sure I will always sound like I'm from overseas and not American. Oh well.

Why would you want to sound american? Having an accent makes you unique man.

I don't see the relation... but no, I haven't seen that particular video series.

When I get excited... I enter what I call my "Puerto Rican Speech" mode. Rapid-fire bursts of speech that confuse the hell out of my Japanese friends who normally understand me because I speak very clearly to them. They tell me, "Calm down and slow down... we cannot listen that fast".

I can understand his frustration. People would be curious and, of course, ask him where he's from. When he replies, "Umm... from about 30 miles that way"... he might garner unwanted attention.

Well, I AM American...American born...raised in American. Although I'm starting to get in da point where I just feel like saying I was born in Hawaii, raised in NC, but yet have this accent.' Then make this face :awesome:.

The relation is that it entered my damn mind when I was replying to your post. Because your Asian and Godzilla is from that area and Clooney is Clooney :o. But seriously, Up in teh Air has Clooney and it reminded me of that video series.

I'd love to hear your voice. Is it in that other thread?

My apologies man. I didn't realize you were a natural born american. You sound british...and I don't think that's a bad thing.

No, I have yet to post it. You should have been here for the last Hype Idol contest... I was *le dominating* it... but decided to let the others win by dropping out. I've been told by a few people here (meaning Bamfer)... that I sound Mexican... whatever that means.

He's as American as a bald guy with long hair who smashes watermelons.

he and Gallagher are both from NC

i have a new york/boston type of accent. im not a fan of it but hey, i work with what i got.

What's funny is that family are all like 'You don't have a accent.' But I hear myself in these two vids and people that aren't family related are usually mistake my speech problem for a accent.

I can't sing. Nor have a mic. If I did, I'd try Alien Ant Farm's movies. It probably be horrible for most part.

isn't he american?
Yes, I am.

I like it when Southern People ask where I am from. Probably thinking to themselves ****ing English dude has been here since 1989 and still hasn't picked up a Southern Accent?!

he and Gallagher are both from NC

Gallagher sucks.

nosebleed brought him up, not me

Nosebleeds sucks then. Get it? Nose...bleeds? It's a pun or something. I dunno. In real life I usually say I dunno as I nunno or I'd dunno. BUt sometimes I say it right.

I'm too lazy to post this on Twitter, so I'm doing it here. ETM@Hype :cmad: I'm takingz a naps with my cats LOLZ. :hehe:

ETM... what's your real first name? I want to put a name to the voiceface.

:woot: I love it when people on here post this towards me. Actually makes my heart grow a bit. Sometimes I bait posters so they will post it. :o
