OK. I think all comic fans (atleast all Marvel fans) can agree that Stan Lee is The Man! He's the master of comic legends, and I think it's time he got his own biopic.

I love the title, and I REALLY was hoping that I cold have a sit down chat with Mr. Lee to talk about his life, and make this script awesome.

So....Mr. Lee if you are reading, I would LOVE to make your biopic.

I'd watch a Stan Lee biopic, but we probably won't get one till he dies.

That's probably true, which is sad to think about. But at least the guy is living long enough to see all of his creations bringing so much joy. I think he knows how appreciated his work is.

The thing is that to do this biopic right, I feel like I need to sit down with him for about a week, and just chat. Talk about everything that's happened to him in his 80+ year life, and put it on paper, then on film.

He's such an awesome guy.

I would love to see a movie based on Stan Lee's life.

Stan usually gets all the credit but let's not forget people like Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Frank Miller & others. Without these guys drawings & illustrations there's no telling what Marvel's most famous superheros would have turned out to look like, & would they have still been as successful today if they looked a different way? Making a biopic about Stan Lee would probably still be interesting but would probably be viewed as a one sided account of what all transpired between him & the other co-creators of the comic book charcters & if the surviving co-creators felt they weren't depicted accurately it would probably cause bad blood between them & Stan who knows what all would happen.

Would like to hear eventually about what gave him the idea in casting Paris Hilton as ANY KIND of Superhero

A Stan Lee biopic would be pretty cool. I would watch it. As far as Stan getting most of the credit, well he's definately the most vocal out of all the other creators he has worked with. But he's also doesnt mind mentioning Kirby, or Ditko when asked about them. I also remember Stan saying that he is very comfortable in calling himself the co-creator of all the superheros he has been affiliated with creating. I dont know, he seemed like a fairly humble guy on that Stan Lee interview DVD with Kevin Smith.

You want someone who takes all the credit, and gives none to the other guys? Bob Kane is your man. :o

I've often thought about this, but I can't think of anyone who I'd want to play Stan.

Was his life really interesting enough to warrent a dramatic biopic? I mean, sure he did a lot for comics, but did anything really dramatic happen in his life other than that? Could he really carry a movie?

Stan's years serving in the military during World War 2 would be interesting. As he did mention in an interview with Kevin Smith that some of the other people he was around during this time was Frank Capra. His situation after the Dr. Werthum "seduction of the innocent" hearings would be interesting. As well as his success, and relationships with Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and other artists during Marvel's rise to prominence...

I think it would make for an interesting film. I dont believe Stan's personal life would make for an overly interesting film. But I do believe a film that follows Stan, and the rise of Marvel, and comic books in general would probably be pretty cool to see.

You make it sound a little more ineresting, but I'm not real big on a Stan Lee film. dont get me wrong, he's awesome, but I don't think It would be a very exciting movie.

Yeah, it probably wouldnt be that exciting of a flick. But with all the crap that Hollywood dishes out week after week, I wouldnt mind seeing this being fully realized. I would even settle for a direct to dvd release. And although I might be in the minority, I actually liked "Comic Book Villains" (although it's a completely different kind of movie). And I dont think that one had a theatrical run either (if it had one, I guess it was really quick).

I thought for a long time that he was the co-creator of Daredevil, but he was only one of the many artists who worked on the Daredevil comic. He did create Daredevil's love interest Elektra though.

Frank Miller basically created the Daredevil we see now.
It can basically be broken down to Pre-Frank Miller, and Post-Frank Miller.
His influence on the character is immense, to say the least.

Stan Lee will never die! I just couldnt imagine it! Stan The Man, you will live on forever, even if you do go one day :csad:

I can see a Stan Lee biopic on the Hallmark channel.

There was a Stan Lee biography on A & E about ten years ago.

It was pretty good.

they made a movie about harvey pekar and it was one of the best movies that year. stan lee seems more interesting than that dude.

He pioneered the industry, he served his country, he wound up having to sue the company that he built over royalties-a worthwhile movie could be made.
