One Teaser. Two Trailers. Five TV Spots. Look Up In The Sky Footage. And over 20 Production Blogs.

Considering that we now have a LOT of footage from the movie, how about trying to edit them to make "Extended Trailers".

Even posting existing ones here would be cool.

Here's a start - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vaOXDOczlc&search=superman returns trailer

Found it at the planet. It's pretty good.

Let's have more Fan-Made Trailers!

That was decent but the music didnt really fit at all. I guess the classic williams theme in its full form doesnt work with this film.

If they fix the audio it could be great.

Yes, I know what you mean about the music. I think the guy wasn't able to get rid of the music layer in the dialogue and that combined with his intended music just makes the whole thing sound very... disturbing.

I also agree what you said about the Williams theme not working well with SR. That's why I really liked the International trailer. Ottman's "updated" music was really working.

Stroke of genius.

Okay, this is not a trailer of SR.... but I really, REALLY like this video. And swe might as well post ANY cool Superman videos here.

I've seen this many times and it still gets me a bit emo. I think it's been edited very well with the actual Five for Fighting music video.

There's another video that's been cut with the same song, but with only footage from the movies. IMO, that doesn't work as well as this.

Anyway, enjoy.

Here's mine, kinda' music-video/trailer combination. Despite how it starts, it does have all SR stuff with everything except TV spot #5. I took liberties with the music, of course. Wanted to try something...um...different...than the Williams score...:)

They're pretty big, even at 320x136 (3-1/2 minutes long).

47.3 MB H.264 Quicktime (QT player 7 required):

48.6 MB DiVX AVI:

And if absolutely HAVE to watch the YouTube version:

..which I don't recommend, since it plays/looks/sounds crappy and is often out-of-sync...which will kill this.

Very nice job on both. I especially like the TV spot. I know it's hard mixing in different music tracks in a long trailer. I had to do various things to filter out backround noise and isolate dialogue. Good work!

Here are recent ones with the regular Williams music (as opposed to the KISS tune I used on the last one):

36MB H.264 Quicktime (QT PLayer 7 req'd):
