I think it deserves a thread in this board. it´s one of the most professionally made fanfilm works I ever seen. Some frames are almost 100% exact live-action reproductions of panels from AA.

I guess I'm the only one not wow-ed by it.

It is great cinematography and editing, but the characters all looked like crap to me.

Have you read Arkham Asylum? The only character that wasn't spot on was the Joker but he still looked creepier than Jack.

The story didn't interest me much so I didn't read it.

The Joker looks like crap though. I've seen a screen-cap of him from this somewhere else and it still looks s**tty to me.

Don't get me wrong, obviously a lot of work went into it and it looks great, but the designs are where it loses me.

Just not your cup o' tea, eh? That's cool. And yeah I wish the Joker looked more like he did in the book.

Joker did look like crap but Batman was pulled from the pages of Arkham and translated 100% the same way. From the huge shoulders to the exgerrated ears.

If you didn't like Batman in this short then you basically didn't like him in the book either. But hey, I know a few ppl who don't like that style.

Not true. What looked cool and fluid on the page can look weird and clunky when someone attempts to realize it in three dimensions.

That said, the production values on this video are excellent. Sure, the Joker's a little off, and I'm not quite sold on how Batman's shoulders look, but besides that, it looks stellar. The translation of the visual style of the graphic novel is even more accurate in tone than bigger films that have attempted the same thing, like SIN CITY and 300.

Seriously, its beautiful and reminds me of pan's labyrinth, not just beacause of the language. it's beautifully velvety darkness is really cool, and i loved the beginnging. it feels just like the comic.
