Havok shows up to the Mansion looking for answers on his brothers supposed death.
Younger mutants (New Mutants) train in the Danger room, including Jubilee, Cannonball, and Sunspot.
Cyclops is being held captive by Mr. Sinister since the Alkali Lake incident.
Rogues powers start coming back, she accidentally absorbs the powers of flight, super-strength, invulerability. She inadvertantly kills the mutant in the process. She leaves the school once again, eventually meeting Gambit.
Iceman takes on a leadership role.
Kitty and Collossus start to form a relationship.
Finding out that the cure is actually only temporary, the Government starts to develop Sentinels, just in case another Alcatraz incident happens again.
The X-men find out Cylops might still be alive.
Many mutants start to get there powers back and they are pissed. They ban together and once again and attack Washington (which is set up by Mr. Sinister), the Sentinels clean house, one group of X-Men are sent to deal with that.

Opening scene shows Storm working in the "late" Prof. X's office writing dayplans for classes as mutant children walk in preparing for class. Skip to Logan in Scott Summers old tech class talking to some students about survival and being on your own, where one kid asks what this has to do w/ shop class and the real world. Of course wolverine just smiles, then you hear a loud explosion.
Skip to the danger room where a group of young "trainee" mutants are led by Ice man fighting off mini versions of setinals. The Mutants included are shadow cat, jubilee, some other random ones and angel. Up in the corner you see Rouge w/ a checklist making observations in a room w/ a 2 way mirror. In walks Collosus asking for updates and a situtaion report to give back to Prof Aurora. Rouge just shakes her head. Then we see the young mutants gettin there ass'es handed to them by the robots and Bobby Drake yelling at them to work as a team. Finally in desperation bobby jumps in and starts to perform mop up duty on whats left before him. (if i keep going like this ill go forever so ill shorten this) Somehow drake gets himself in a tough spot and see's that his younger pupils are in a dangerously possibly fatal situation. Just as hes about to make his decision Angel comes out of his shell and rescues his friends to safety and then proceeds back to drakes postition where the 2 of em finish up the practice in a elite breathtaking battle. This of course puts Angel as the next canidate to recieve a "X".
Next scene we are at a secret location (for once not the white house) where some human foreign and american abassadors are gathering w/ some military experts and the sec. of mutant affairs of the US Hank McCoy. In walks some tech guy reporting of some unusual patterns of energy coming from the same lake that phoenix came from ( id say the name but i dont remember). He also states that theres been a series of explosions and everytime a satelite gets a feed it gets scambled. McCoy looking worried knows that if its what he thinks then there is gonna be a serious threat.(This keeps the option open for another rebirth of phoenix)
Now go back to this huge steel transport trailer on a train car going into a tunnel along w/ another ahead of it. We see tons of security personel in the small train car and we see another sep train car ahead w/ guns attatched and soilders mounting them. Small talk conversation is being made in the main car where suddenly the lights in the tunnel go out and the power decreases slowing down the 2nd train car. The operator radios to the first car and the order is confirmed to move into percautionary positions. The Lt. signals his men to move ahead w/ out the 2nd car and secure the tunnel from the exit portion before moving any further while the 2nd car stays back w/ the "Package" , as they call it. It gets quiet and then you hear on a radio men yelling and screaming in agony. Some guns go off and a huge explosion occurs at the exit portion of the tunnel trapping the 2nd car to where it can go no further. The command unit goes into a holding procedure and the main comander realizes to get a signal he has to go outside of the car to request help. He apoints 2 men to come outside and the rest to stay inside. As the comander walks down the indside of the car we see 3 huge steel cages w/ names written on them but its quick so you only see a glance. We watch from a soilder POV as the commander goes outside. (skip up a few scenes quick here) Comander goes outside, raido man cant get a signal, then we hear a loud bump on the roof of the car, men look over and see a huge shadowy figure w/ green eyes staring them down. Men shoot at it then cut back to inside car where men inside brace for battle. Next you see torn shriviled bodys (including the commander) get thrown through the window and the door torn open. The men inside shoot desperatly fearing for there lives but nothing comes in. Suddenly the beast crashes through the roof and tears up 2 other guys leaving the rest for desert. We see the green eyed figgure look up and for the first time, Finally! Sabertooth is back.
Back to some park in NYC where we Eric (Mags) playing chess w/ a group of old men dominating w/ respectfull taste. A old man sitting in the back in shrouds looking homeless walks up to eric and challenges him as they start to play they talk about pawns and queens and how pawn should never be confused with a queen especialy one that comes back from the dead and the eyes of the old man turn yellow like a cat (this is to show mystiqe's powers have come back) Eric smiles appoligizes and explains why he left her. {Whats important is that it shows that the cure was only temp.} Eric then moves some of the pieces (like he did at the end of the 3rd film).
Cut back to the Mansion where Angel is recieving some recognition for his skills and ability and is being put in the final trial where he goes in the danger room all by himself. We see him enter and battle a setinal alone he fights hard and just when u think hes gonna lose he wins. Of course Storm/Logan/Collosus/Iceman all watch this and he is accepted into the Xmen. Then we pan down the room and look at a empty doorway that shows cerebro's lights on like someone is using it from a outside source...
After the battle we cut back and forth to Magneto walking along a rd feeling more confident and at the school where rouge is walking out w/ Angel and Collosus. Cut back to Magneto walking into a old deserted steel plant and atempts to open the door w/ his powers. It works but only slowly. Then we see rouges eyes fall back and she falls on angel knocking him over and landing on top of his wings, It becomes apparent that Rouges powers are returning and taking away Angels. Collosus rushes to her to help her get up but she drains Peter's powers from him as well. We then see magneto destroy a lg steel wall. This is important b/c is explains how Rouge gets her real powers. Bobby only watches in dissapointment. Kitty rushes to Collosus's aid and Angel seems to be rendered unconcious. (Speeding up) Maria wakes up to find her self w/ the ability to float (Angel) and she has some hard hitting skills (Collusus). Although Peter is seems only dazed, Warren is unconcious and has to be put in the infirmary.
Back to the train car where sabertooth is bloody and tearing **** up all around him. We hear a voice w/ a raspy (sinister sound) telling him to find and release the target. Creed walks to the door labeled < do not remove unless sedated {CAIN} >. Door opens and we see a half awake juggernaut confused but antsy to get escape. Sabes cuts the locks and juggs jumps out he moves toward the back of the car where lady deathstrike walks in w/ a lg helmet in her hands. The same voice instructs her to place the helmet on his head" or somthing to that nature. Juggs naturally refuses and a stare down breaks out between him sabes and lady deathstrike. Now in the comotion callisto is awoken in her cage and in the first lunge that sabertooth makes at juggernaut, she is jarred loose and freed. As she escapes Sinister blows the whole back of the car out and walks in saying shes not welcome and orders deathstrike to kill her. Being that Juggs and Callisto knew each other from before and were both now targets of Sinister they join and a interesting unique battle occurs between the 4 while sinister watches. In the end juggs ends up barely surviving but sinister puts him in a spell and the helmet is attatched. You see Juggernaut look up and his eyes go from brown to a glowing green. Callisto now knows its 3-1 and is wounded badly, realizing her chances are slim she flees. Sinister lets her go and informs his men to retrieve the final "target"
(I know its slim to have all 3 main henchmen back but none were never really confirmed dead) My aproach would be to say that Sabertooth only got thrown into a lake (hardly the way for him to die), Juggernaut only knocked himself out so he could have easily survived the ravages of Phoenix, and lady deathstrike has mutant regeneration so the metal could have been absorbed into her blood like it was in wolverines bones. Which makes for a great twist and battle later. An w/ Sinister leading the 3 HOLY **** right? so to break this down a little faster...
We cut back the the woods that McCoy was being informed on earlier and we see this shadowy long beared long haired character walking w/ a sling on his arm limping a great bit. his face is bruised and eyes swolen shut. He stumbles around the woods feeling his way around trees and rocks carrying a long walking stick. A whisper is sounded "follow me, follow my voice" . He looks confused and looks around, then moves a little faster, cut to a loud thumping sound coming from the ground. (Camera Pans ahead) We see trees being blasted down and rocks being blasted out of the way. Then we see from the back in a pov its Juggernaut charging the figgure . Cut back to the man as he doest know whats going on but knows it cant be good. Then we hear the whisper again, "follow your insticts" the character dives just in the nick of time but not before we see sabertooth grab him and throw him into a wall of rocks stunning him. Deathstrike walks out holding a eye visor and just as shes about to retrieve the body a beast from the trees attacks w/ its tail and legs kicking her out of the way. The beast then quickly stands in front of the injured man. He runs to the man picks him up and Teleports him back to this huge medical center where the first person we see is Moira Mctaggert.
Looking from the ceiling down you see the wounded man, nightcrawler, moira, and some nurses tending to the wounds of the injured bearded man. Moira says "hes in bad shape but nothing we cant fix. You hear the words "Wonderfull news Moira" , (From behind) you see a wheel chair aproach the body then hear the vc of patrick stewart. "To have my right hand man back is, to walk again." Prof X then looks down and says "your memory has been erased but your skills have been greatened, you will be my predecessor Scott". Man just looks up and says "who are you?" X responds w/ "just a mutant like you". Scott then resonds w/ "whats a mutant?" cuts out....(important b/c this is the bringing back of prof x and cyclops but they will both be diff now so you can have diff actors play them or maybe just this cameo of patrick stewart. Also scotts memory is wiped clean so you can have him be strong again like before jeans death.
now that i have summarized the more critical parts of the movie
i can go in less depth of what could follow. All the mutants have been returned at some point so now we can follow up w/ where the storyline goes.
-Sinister hired the 3 strongest battle tested mutants to use or control to achieve his objective, unlike magneto sinister basicaly wants to take control of all species. mutant/human alike
-Wolverine/Storm/Collosus/Iceman/Rouge are your main new Xmen, shadow cat, jubilee and angel are our up and commers.
-Juggernaut, Sabertooth, Sinister, and Deathstrike are your villians
-small role cameos (prof x, mags, mystique, callisto, nightcrawler, beast to a extent.
-Sabertooth and LadyDeathstrikes return can be explained in the wolverine solo movie
-Callisto will somehow get back to Magneto to warn him about sinister but mags isnt strong enough, so he only acts as secret source to storm about what to do, (outside leadership source)
-kitty and peter start to have some chemistry
-rouge and bobby begin to seperate
-angel loses the power in his left wing and is basicaly a paralyzed mutant, he leaves the school
-in the battle between sinister and the xmen they all get laid out bad, untill cyclops come back and saves the day wounding/killing sinister. Since its Scotts powers thats sinisters weakness
-mind control devices are removed by beast who later joins the battle and has them all arrested since they werent under there own power.
-Angel apears but get captured by a unknown force who later is Apocalypse, Apoc promises to give him his wings back in exchange for his services, this creates arcangel and the 1 of the four horsemen is put in place for the next moive whic would obviously deal w/ The coming of Apocalypse

I like Supermarvels take on it, Gambit needs to have a big role in this movie (gambit haters or not)

- The film opens with a girl getting ready for school, she seems depressed and won't speak to her parents (There is shot of her father reading the Newspaper and the headline reads " 14 more mutants die of cure rejection".) The girl leaves home quickly and forgets her lunch. Her mother goes after her to give it to her. The girl panics runs and doesn't see a car comicg towards her. She gets hit but the car gets totaled instead. She turns to her mother and says "I'm Sorry".
- Cyclops didn't die. He's back and he's the leader, but the news of Jean's and Xavier's death makes things hard( I can get more elaborate if you want).
- Unfortunately the school is in shambles. Without Xavier's guidance and superpowerful telepathy keeping the school functioning and anonymous is getting harder and harder.
- Storm is also having trouble coping. She is having a secret affair with Logan.
- Beast has feelings for Storm but is a little reserved because of his looks.
- Logan of course refuses to listen to scott.
- Rogue is critically ill as her body has violently rejected the cure a year after she took it. However when her powers return Logan heals her by giving his power to her. She isolates herself from Bobby again.
- The girl from the beginning of the film is brought to the school. She has tried to kill herself several times but her powers(strength, invulnerability) prevent her from doing so.
- A student warns her about making contact with Rogue. She sees an opportunity and when rogue is lone grabs hold of her and doesn't let go and eventually dies.
- Magneto on the other hand, is back with a vengeance and making it harder to keep the peace. And he has a new soldier- The BLOB
- Given the failure of the cure, the phoenix incident and the reemergance of Magneto, a new government with a much harsher stance on mutants is elected.
- The new secretary of mutant affairs who has previous affiliations with Trask industries green lights the sentinel program. Also a new anti-mutant terrorism bill allows the government to detain suspected mutant terrorists without trial. the sentinels are used in these instances.
- The new government who also has the info on the Xavier school (from X2) feels that keeping secrets for an institution that was once affiliated with Magneto could be dangerous politically. It pressures the school to shut down or it will get the sentinel treatment.
- Scott can't shut down the school.
- Left with no other option Scott asks Logan to hunt down Magneto( to be used as a bargaining tool) while the others wait to hold off the sentinels.
- The only lead they have on Magneto is a mutant named Gambit who both the X-men and the brotherhood were trying to recruit long back (he of course, refused them both). If the brotherhood is still in touch with him he could have valuable info on Magneto's whereabouts.
- Logan takes Rogue (who's depressed now that she has her powers, Logan wants to keep an eye on her) and Bobby (logan thinks he could help with Rogue too-and he's the only one other than cyke and Storm who can fly the Blackbird).
- They find Gambit and when Rogue tries to take him down in a fight she is shocked to find that he isn't affected by her powers.
- Gambit escapes (after a little cardplay) but rogue catches up with him and asks him to take her with him.
- Rogue begs Gambit to help her find Magneto and he eventually agrees.
- The Sentinels are sent to the school and Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Colossus and Kitty fight them, but there are too many....
- After searching for Rogue/Gambit with no success Bobby and Logan return to the Mansion in time to help with the sentinels.
- Amidst the battle a man quietly walks to Jean's tomb and says "Jean, it's time"
- The Phoenix bursts from the tomb and obliterates the remaining sentinels and flies off. The x-men are stunned.
- Gambit and Rogue defeat Magneto and bring him to the Department of Mutant affairs.
- Magneto's plastic prison is ripped apart by the Phoenix and the man who controls her is none other than Xavier in the new body. He had also implanted his consciousness into Jean but it was unable to take over until Logan killed her. Now Xavier uses the Phoenix to implant his mind into Magneto's body and as he does this he says "I need your help.....and the help of your children".

pyro then gets a befuttled look upon his face
multiple man steps from behind pyro

multiple man then duplicates himself, making the dups form a ladder that he runs up
multiple man now in mid air about to land on iceman, but iceman freezes him, but the moment the ice hits him four more dups come out and land on iceman's ice stage on which he stands
in comes angel and nightcrawler
angel lands and spreads his wings, purposly knocking two of the dups off
shot of storm flying ketching them both and dropping them off about a foot from the ground
nightcrawler is battling the other two in a bamping and kicking match eventually knocking them both out
storm flies high above the giant ladder of dups then bringing in a wirlwind to blow all away

Alright....I am a writer and currently working on a novel...but this movie has really sidetracked me 
. I am too much of an X-men fan. I am going to start writing a believable continuation of the story and even a way to get Professor X back in the flesh and Cyclops....AND IT WONT BE DONE IN A CHEESY WAY....I have some great ideas. The only plot hole I have right now is what is the new threat to the team??....who should be the villian. Apocalypse, Omega Red, Sinister,.........I just dont know?? Anybody wanna help me out here
Here is an excerpt that I wrote from X3 when I thought Cyclops could return...it didnt take me long but now I am going to focus on X4...I have some great ideas and I will need evryones help
Darkness lurked over the city as the crescent moon rested on the nighttime sky and stood watch over the land. The fight was raging on with such great intensity and the Brotherhood was quickly closing in on Storm and Wolverine. Wolverine looked to Phoenix who was watching from the highest point of the battle in complete awe and yelled to the team "We must keep them back, hold the line!" Although the Xmen had done an excellent job of withstanding the ferocious attack of Magneto and his army, their strength was quickly fading. Magneto stood beside the lifeless Phoenix who was in utter silence and his lips curled upward giving off a small grin. He then glanced at Pyro who was just waiting at his side for the command to unleash his fury. "They are traitors to their own cause and they dont even know it.....such a pity. Its time we put an end to this war Pyro took these words as a signal to finally enter the fray.
Amongst all the confusion, Bobby was tightly grasping Kittys hand and was ready to use his powers against any of the soldiers who were relentlessly marching forward. It seemed utterly hopeless for the Xmen at this point and everything they stood for appeared to be nothing more then a dream.
Back at Alkali Lake, however, there was a certain calmness that lurked over the area while the fight raged on. A slight breeze could be heard which let off a soft whistle as pebbles were swept across the ground. Along the shore, a dark and decrepit individual lay sprawled out like a withering spider. He looked as if he was an inch from death and his clothes were completely frayed. It was none other then Scott Summers who was thought to be dead by all of his comrades back at the mansion. As water splashed onto his pale face, Scott let off a light cough as life slowly seemed to return to his body. He cautiously rose until he had a firm footing on the rough surface of the Jetty floor and soon realized his glasses were missing. A number of questions flooded into Scotts head. He wondered how long he had been unconscious. What was he doing here? Then, the memories of Jeans rebirth hit him all at once. Scott remembered how they tenderly embraced each other and how he was able to gaze at Jean with his own two eyes for the very first time in his life.
He stood there helpless and unaware of his surroundings since he did not have his glasses or protective visor. At that moment, a soothing voice entered Scotts head, Listen to me Scott, the Xmen are in dire need of your help. Jean has become a great and powerful threat to both herself and the team. She has become consumed with hatred and is no longer the woman you remember her as.
Scott was disillusioned by these words which brought him down on both knees. It was the voice of the closest thing he ever had to a father. Professor, I need your help more then ever now. Please help me.

Alright, guys. Here's the deal.
I am currently working on a script/screenplay for X4 and planning on submitting it to the production studios, with whatever it takes. I consider myself a pretty big X-men fan. Though I have not read the comics, I have watched the entire animated series and plan on rewatching it again. I also intend on researching all of the characters' backgrounds and storylines, and browsing through the comics. I regularly read through the boards to look at your guys' ideas for a sequel; some of them are quite good, others really can't be integrated into a movie's plotline, considering that we're dealing with die-hard X-Men fans and the general public. Therefore, the variety of audiences has to be compromised. However, I do think it is possible to stay mostly true to the comic book characters, and to write a plausible storyline that is understandable by general audiences. This will require much more depth than what the first 3 movies have displayed. I really encourage you guys to keep posting up ideas for a sequel, as I've actually been inspired by some of them.
I will not reveal everything I have come up with, for legal purposes, but coincidentally, some of you guys have brought up a few of the story arcs I have been working with. Here is a bit of my input on what I have read on the boards:
- the sentinels cannot be properly integrated into the sequel because they really don't play that significant of a role with the direction that the story has gone so far. Of course, I'm open to ideas.
- the whole storyline with Bishop and time travelling may be too far-fetched and unrealistic for a movie
- if the next trilogy does get into the Onslaught storyline, expect it to come up only as early as the end of X4, since such a grand-scale story would take a lot of time to build up and explain
- the sequel should continue its focus on the political issues of mutation; I have already come up with one issue that has arisen in the past decade.
- Gambit - not thrown in as a side character with 2 measly lines (still beats Colossus) - he has to be a main character
-kick Ratner out of there; Singer can co-produce, while working on the sequel to Superman Returns
I have already written the intro to the sequel, so I pretty much have a developed, well-rounded idea as to how this new trilogy should go.
Yeah, so keep it up with all the great ideas! I'll try to have this script done by the end of the year.

I've read what some of you have, and I like them. Here's what I would like to see in a pt. 4:
-An opening speech about mutation once again by Professor X, asking the question about when mutation started.
-Storm now runs the Xavier Institute and gets frequent visits from Beast. She, along with Collossus now lead the X-Men and are in the Danger Room training the new team: Kitty (Shadowcat), Bobby (Iceman), Warren (Angel), Jubilee, and Nightcrawler (who has returned to the mansion). Rogue is one the move once again, trying to clear her head (after taking the cure, most of her fellow mutants at the school act differently towards her and call her a "traitor"). Wolverine has left the mansion for reasons unknown.
-Alex Summers arrives at the school after he receives word about his brother's death.
-Meanwhile Professor X, in the body of that comatose man, is brought to the mansion by Moira where he explains to Storm and the others what happened and how he is still "alive". He wants to let them know that he is still well and that he won't be returning to the X-Men anytime soon, because he is on a "mission of self-thought" or some other mystical type journey that sounds just about right.
-It's shown that Magneto is underground after discovering his powers are slowly returning. He has been gradually trying to increase his power, but he is not getting much progress. Though his powers haven't returned yet, he still feels that he should let it be known that Magneto has returned, so he sets out to find two mutants who are apparently his children (since he has no one else to turn to) so they can deliver his message (also he is busy going through old scriptures from ancient Egypt that he has held for years, but only kept it for dire times, and these times are more dire than ever.
-Beast drops by the Mansion to discuss with the X-Men that the cure that was developed is not entirely permanent. In some mutants it is, but in others (such as powerful ones and some "lucky ones") it's not, and they all remember Magneto was hit with the cure as well. They believe he might indeed return if the same goes for him.
-Meanwhile, Rogue is still on the road and eventually stops at a bar (as always) and runs into a bar fight with five men against one (and we all know who that one is). The one man pulls out his only defense: a deck of cards....that happen to flare up and explode all over the place. Rogue realizes he's a mutant and the man runs off before the police show up (but not before stealing a kiss from Rogue....and her all her money). After realizing this, she follows him.
-Magneto, slowly gaining more power, travels over to the moutains where there is a home, belonging to Pietro Maximoff, his son. After telling him what his plan is, the two travel over to a mental ward where their is a girl who believes herself to have magical powers is kept in. Pietro and Magneto break her free, and she is revealed to be Wanda Maximoff, Magneto's daughter (he had seperated his children and kept them hidden so that when the day came for him to fall, they would rise and take his place).
Once three are reunited, they move on with their next plan: which is travel to Egypt to try and ressurect the one known as En Sabah Nur, who is believed to be the first mutant on Earth. It is said that Nur, "at his core, has always been about ensuring that the mutant race is strong enough to survive whatever hardships it might encounter". Now, after the events of X3, the mutant race is at its all-time low…so if there was ever a time where the mutant race needed a savior, it’s now. And Magneto intends for En Sabah Nur intends to be that savior.
Before they can move on, Magneto wasnt's to rebuild the Brotherhood, so he moves on to doing so (not before making his return known).
-The X-Men get word of Magneto's return and that he's breaking out various mutants to rebuild the Brotherhood, so they chase him down, with Havok and Beast on the team for the moment.
-Rogue finally finds the theif Gambit and she tries to get her stuff back, and when she touches him, he passes out (her powers are returning, and she now has a share of his). After seeing that her powers have returned, she decides to head back to the school (Gambit, after waking up secretly follows her). Once she arrives she realizes that the others have left, and most of the other mutants don't want her around. She begins having a breakdown and Gambit tries to comfort her, and surprisingly: she begins to exhibit new abilities (apparently a side effect of the cure wearing off).
-The X-Men return to the mansion after discovering where Magneto is heading to and for what (after consulting the Professor) and are joined by Rogue and Gambit on the mission because they'll need all the help they can get. There is tension between Bobby, Rogue, Kitty, and Gambit (Rogue still likes Bobby, but she is liking Gambit, and Bobby's jealous, which is angering Kitty).
-In Egypt, Magneto and his team meet with a mysterious man who calls himself Sinister and he takes them to meet a woman named Destiny who can see into the future and she tells them of the events to come, Apocalypse, and the Four Horsemen. With this information, Sinister joins the team towards the tomb of En Sabah Nur.
-The X-Men find the where the Brotherhood has arrived at they begin battle, splitting the teams while some go inside to try and resurrect the first mutant/stop the ressurection. Of course it's not stopped and Apocalypse is awaken and he begins atacking, knocking out a number of the X-Men and Brotherhood. He then takes four of the mutants and chooses to make them his Horsemen (Collossus, Storm, Magneto, and Angel). Also, Angel is stripped of his old wings and given new metallic ones.
-Now the remaining mutants have to join together and stop the Four Horsemen and Apocalypse as they ramapge through cities and civilizations (it can end like that or end with them defeating Apocalypse....don't matter)

Rogue realizes he's a mutant and the man runs off before the police show up (but not before stealing a kiss from Rogue....and her all her money). After realizing this, she follows him.
-Magneto, slowly gaining more power, travels over to the moutains where there is a home, belonging to Pietro Maximoff, his son. After telling him what his plan is, the two travel over to a mental ward where their is a girl who believes herself to have magical powers is kept in. Pietro and Magneto break her free, and she is revealed to be Wanda Maximoff, Magneto's daughter (he had seperated his children and kept them hidden so that when the day came for him to fall, they would rise and take his place).
Once three are reunited, they move on with their next plan: which is travel to Egypt to try and ressurect the one known as En Sabah Nur, who is believed to be the first mutant on Earth. It is said that Nur, "at his core, has always been about ensuring that the mutant race is strong enough to survive whatever hardships it might encounter". Now, after the events of X3, the mutant race is at its all-time low…so if there was ever a time where the mutant race needed a savior, it’s now. And Magneto intends for En Sabah Nur intends to be that savior.
Before they can move on, Magneto wasnt's to rebuild the Brotherhood, so he moves on to doing so (not before making his return known).
-The X-Men get word of Magneto's return and that he's breaking out various mutants to rebuild the Brotherhood, so they chase him down, with Havok and Beast on the team for the moment.
-Rogue finally finds the theif Gambit and she tries to get her stuff back, and when she touches him, he passes out (her powers are returning, and she now has a share of his). After seeing that her powers have returned, she decides to head back to the school (Gambit, after waking up secretly follows her). Once she arrives she realizes that the others have left, and most of the other mutants don't want her around. She begins having a breakdown and Gambit tries to comfort her, and surprisingly: she begins to exhibit new abilities (apparently a side effect of the cure wearing off).
-The X-Men return to the mansion after discovering where Magneto is heading to and for what (after consulting the Professor) and are joined by Rogue and Gambit on the mission because they'll need all the help they can get. There is tension between Bobby, Rogue, Kitty, and Gambit (Rogue still likes Bobby, but she is liking Gambit, and Bobby's jealous, which is angering Kitty).
-In Egypt, Magneto and his team meet with a mysterious man who calls himself Sinister and he takes them to meet a woman named Destiny who can see into the future and she tells them of the events to come, Apocalypse, and the Four Horsemen. With this information, Sinister joins the team towards the tomb of En Sabah Nur.
-The X-Men find the where the Brotherhood has arrived at they begin battle, splitting the teams while some go inside to try and resurrect the first mutant/stop the ressurection. Of course it's not stopped and Apocalypse is awaken and he begins atacking, knocking out a number of the X-Men and Brotherhood. He then takes four of the mutants and chooses to make them his Horsemen (Collossus, Storm, Magneto, and Angel). Also, Angel is stripped of his old wings and given new metallic ones.
-Now the remaining mutants have to join together and stop the Four Horsemen and Apocalypse as they ramapge through cities and civilizations (it can end like that or end with them defeating Apocalypse....don't matter)

Hey King,
I liked a lot of the things you had to say and most of it sounds plausible. I think Havoc can definitely be brought into the story from his brother's death, and that it really isn't necessary to bring back Cyclops. One of the underlying themes of this sequel could be "brotherhood", as Gambit enters the storyline, if you know what I'm talking about.
The story on Professor X is great and could possibly lead to the Onslaught episode.
I'm not quite sure about the part where Magneto finds his kids as it might take the audience completely aback. At first I was questionable about the part where Magneto goes to Egypt to find En Sabah Nur, but I realized that it's a feasible plotline, if it's to bring Apocalypse into the story.
I think Gambit can be introduced with more depth, as he does have ties with Sinister, which eventually leads to Apocalypse.
Rogue definitely should get her powers back, but I know a way it could be shown that's more accurate to the comics and significant to the story. Think San Francisco...
Apocalypse should certainly not be defeated at the end of the movie. The sequel should just lead to his discovery. The 4 horsemen should also be implied near the end, with Angel playing a more dominant role. This should lead to X5.

- The movie starts off with the X-Men tracking Juggernaut in the streets of London, attempting to round up the Brotherhood members that escaped Alcatraz Island.
- Jean's grave violently shakes and there is a small explosion, catching Logan's attention. She has risen once more and begins to battle the inner demon, ultimately defeating it and returning to her normal, sane self. However, she is weak and confused as to why she has returned again. Before fainting, she reveals to Logan that Scott is still alive.
- Storm and Beast go to Alkali Lake, but to no avail.
- Meanwhile, Magneto discovers that his powers, along with those who were "cured, are slowly returning. Some mutant's are rejecting the return of their powers, dying in the process.
- On Muir Island, Xavier has now full control of his new body, yet he and Moira feel it best that they be the only two that know of his existence. Xavier states that he needs to prepare for the greatest battle of their lives.
- Since X3, Rogue has left the mansion on sabbatical to New Orleans. There, she meets a theif by the name of Remy Lebeau. He manages to get the two of them into a bar fight, however, he uses his power to save them both. She is knocked unconscious and Remy takes her away.
- Sebastian Shaw, a wealthy philanthropist and head of Shaw Industries, begins funding the government's latest answer to the mutant "problem". It's called Operation Zero Tolerance.
- Jean awakes in the infirmary, all alone. She begins to lose control, but suddenly she stops. She feels Scott's presence near her. She realizes that he is in her mind and suddenly, she uses her immense powers to restore his body.
- Rogue wakes up and thanks Remy. Things get a bit steamy and she kisses him. He begins to have some sort of seizure, showing Rogue that her powers have sadly returned along with some new ones, including super strength and flight. She heads back to the mansion with Remy.
- Operation Zero Tolerance, run by the mysterious and dangerous Bastion, is in full affect with mutants running for their lives.
- Graydon Creed, the nation's new president, has created a new political group called the Friends of Humanity (FOH). The members help organize and plan mutant hate crimes.
- Creed is murdered by a anti human terrorist at a presidential rally.
The terrorist morphs into a security guard and easily escapes. The security guard enters a car with Magneto. Magneto tells the man that humanity will soon feel what it is like to be hunted. The guard morphs into Mystique.
- With the entire team together once more, the X-Men must stop Operation Zero Tolerance and stop the inevitable return of Magneto.

Thanks, drake. Not to sound like I'm bragging or anything, but literally came up with all this in about 5 minutes. I was just throwin ideas in there that just seemed like they would make sense. I'm not sure what you mean by the whole thing with Quicksiilver and Scarlet setting the audience "aback". It seemed like it would make sense, but that's just me.
alkali lake flash back, shows jean grey kissing cyclops, mr sinister shows up , blast grey from the back saving cyclops from death, explains why logan and storm found grey laying on the floor.
mr sinister brainwashes cyclops into joining the marauders
rogue finds out the cure isnt permanent when she kisses bobby and hurts him, she runs away and stumbles upon gambit , they both instantly fall for eachother
unknown to rogue though , gambit is part of mr sinisters marauders. after spending time with rogue he tells her who he works for and the plan of mr sinister to control all mutants using them as weapon to take over the world
rogue takes gambit back to the mansion, gambit tells the xmen mr sinisters plan and also how cyclops has become a member of the marauders, mr sinisters first plan is to attack the morlocks, capture them and use them as a weapon, the xmen must stop him and also save cyclops.
the marauders attack the morlocks in the tunnel, the xmen arive and a fight breaks out between the marauders and the xmen, sabretooth is now part of mr sinisters marauders and he has a brutal fight with wolverine, harpoon stabs colossus with an adamantium harpoon hurting colussus badlly, the xmen are winning the battle when mr sinister and cyclops arrive to destroy them all, mr sinister thinks his won ,suddenly a red light appears blinding them all, when the light clears, its professor x, hes standing and looks real mad only this time he looks pure evil and he then talks, "get ready for the onslaught" leading to x5
