I love how it goes from like a Captain America-esque thing with big triumphant horns, to a childlike almost-lullaby, to an 80's synth beat, and then all comes together to create something that sounds like it could be for a Pixar movie. Definitely Top 4 Marvel theme imo.

Not only is this shaping up to be one of the best MCU soundtracks, this is probably one of the best film scores Michael Giacchino has done in his entire career. Dare I say, it’s…fantastic.

A good Superman and F4 film in the same year will keep most folks happy as its been a long wait for both sets of fans of these characters.

I mean yeah you can never really trust early reactions, I can remember some famous cases when things sounded great but didnt work out that way *cough* BvS *cough*, but all this is encouraging at least and we dont have to wait long to find out for ourselves now. A good Superman and F4 film in the same year will keep most folks happy as its been a long wait for both sets of fans of these characters.

Social reviews are always going to skew positive, but I think there’s a difference between positive reviews and people saying it’s a “Masterpiece” and the best Marvel film ever.

I think there’s something more than foolish optimism here.

It could be, we’ll see, but using words like “masterpiece” is kind of par the course for every early Marvel movie reaction lol

“Masterpiece” was a term that reviewers gave when marvel was at its peak. Since it got thrown by some critics this time around I look at it as the movie is atleast “good”

Well, I guess not everyone is looking forward to these films. Odd take.

Anyway, "masterpiece" gets thrown around a lot but yeah its all positive and encouraging stuff at least. Just itching to see it now for myself and form my own ideas but at least these reactions are making me want to see it and not give it a miss.
