Deadman, has always been a fave character of mine. So I was wondering if anyone had some awesome pics they'd like to post? I can't seem to find any. :cmad:

Thanks in advance.

Who's "Deadman"?
Boston Brand. A circus acrobat, and trapeze artist, who was murdered during a performance by a mystery assassin named Hook. Rama Kushna, a Hindu goddess, granted Brand's spirit the power to possess any living being. To serve his own justice and search for Hook. Later, Boston would use his power to control others and fight for the innocent.

there used to be a whole Deadman gallery online featuring sketches by various artists but it's either down or no longer exists.

I really love that comic, or I think it was series of comics. I'm might go search the back issues to see if i can get it.

I can't find any Benes artwork of Deadman, but his art in that new Justice League book is probably the best looking Deadman ever.

Somewhere there's a Mike Mignola rendition of him, it looks pretty cool.

I have no idea what's happening in that last panel. The art is seizure-inducingly bad. :(

Doesn't look bad to me. Just very surrealist.

Well, I said I had no idea what was happening, and in my book, that makes it bad. I can barely distinguish Deadman's pose in the panel (it looked like the index and middle fingertips of his right hand were eyeballs for a while), as well as the person in Lobo's hands (seriously, it looks like his foot is coming out of the top of Lobo's hand). Lobo's legs look like they're made out unequal blocks of wood, as well.

And why is there a "droplet" of something on the tip of Deadman's collar?

I get surrealistic art. As long as it's good surrealistic art.

I love Deadman, but even I couldn't stand through the one-shots by that guy. I hate his art. It's A) not Deadman and B) incomprehensible.

Thanks Batman. I found an interest in him now. :woot: Who created him?

And who drew that pic of Batman holding Robin? Isn't there a Deadman film happening? :ninja:

Arnold Clarke and Carmine Infantino. Also, in case you were wondering, his first appearance was in Strange Adventures #205.

José Luis García-López.

Yeah. Guillermo del Toro was confirmed to be producing the film. As well as Don Murphy and Susan Montford. They hope to have a screenwriter soon.

Deadman is a great charecter that needs a new series (and I'm not talking this Bruce Jones crap. That ain't Deadman)
What they should do is get Steve Niles and everyone who worked on Gotham county line and theres the Deadman creative team.
Ocassional fill ins by oh..say..Mike Mignola, Bernie Wrightson and Richard Corban.
