You've got to be kidding, right?
Rob Zombie's Halloween was a decent flick, but Tyler Mane as Michael Myers was not at all, scary.

R.I.P.

Imagine the set of Rob Zombie's Halloween.

Zombie: How can we make this film more extreme than the original?

Lackey: Extreme does not mean better, sir...

Zombie: We'll have waaaay more blood!

Lackey: Okay sir....

Zombie: Let's make Michael a werewolf! A seven foot tall werewolf with a lightsaber!

Lackey: Er....Mr Zombie...in the original movie Michael is not a werewolf and does not carry a lightsaber....

Zombie: F*** it, I guess I should have watched the damn thing. Okay, can he be seven foot tall though?

Lackey: ...okay....

Zombie: Awesome, we'll save the lightsabers for the sequel!

I severely doubt you would be saying that if you met that version of Myers in real life.

To be honest, it's not supposed to be that scary at all, especially when you're not a kid. Nick Castle sucked as MM, he was too small, Tyler Mane is much bigger & is better physically imposing.

I picked other.

Pinhead

Which Pinhead? The puppet called Pinhead from the Puppet Master movies or Pinhead from Hellraiser?:oldrazz:

I'm watching special features on Jason X as we speak. I think the Friday the 13th series really does need a remake because to my understanding Jason doesn't even show up much in the movies.

Godzilla

I would vote for Predator but I never considered it nor the aliens monsters
The Aliens are mosnters. Predator really isn't but he's my favorite on the list.
Out of this list probably:

1) Alien
2) Godzilla
3) Predator

King Kong is probably in there somewhere too, but he's not on the list, bafflingly enough.
Kong is a good guy.

He's still a monster though. The point of it was to see what everyone's favorite movie monsters were, good or bad.

I'm pretty suprized nobody is voting for King Kong especially considering he kicked Godzilla's ass.

However, my vote still went to Godzilla.

I'd actually like to see some sort of remake in which Kong takes on Godzilla again but in a different way instead of Kong & Godzilla being the same size. Whoever were to make the movie could scale down Godzilla a bit & make Kong a few inches taller. All in all, it's a good concept for a movie & if in the right hands, it could turn out to be a great movie, unlike the original.

if this thread was "favorite monster movies" id say jurassic park or starship troopers, but as for "favorite movie monsters" id go with predator.

For my first time watching it, Jurassic Park was somewhat scary but it's because I was younger. I still get chills watching the movie to this very day.
