This is a list of your favorite comic films that aren't about superheroes like Iron Man, Spiderman or Batman. This is a list for the 300s, MIBs ex...
P.S. I kinda counted V for Vendetta and Watchmen because they aren't really your typical superhero story.

1. Watchmen
2. 300
3. Sin City
4. Road To Perdition
5.. V for Vendetta
6. Men In Black
7. A History of Violence
8. The Spirit (Yes I liked it)
9. Wanted
10.TMNT

Watchmen takes a number of viewings to get your head round it, and realise the point of it. Which is the very act of storytelling rather than anything else. But certainly it stands out amongst the genre.

However, my vote goes to the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Simply, it's great. It's even more impressive when you see the sequels and the live action TV shows and you realise just how easy it is to make a lame Ninja Turtles movie.

Totally agree. Very well made movie, very comic book like in execution, is actually about superheroes and supervillains, yet is not based on any existing superhero comics.

Watchmen and V for Vendetta. Two great Allen Moore books, that despite what he says, were made into great movies.
