My company had a little outing at Six Flags yesterday, and I hadn't been for a few years, so I was able to catch up with my coaster queue from back in the day. Favorite one is still Batman: The Ride, for the lack of a floor beneath your feet and the two sudden looops. Superman had a line that was way too long, though there was another called Ragin' Cajun taht's basically a tilt-a-whirl car on a roller coaster track....ka-ray-zee.

This is funny because I just went to Six Flags on Saturday... There was no one there, I went on Superman twice and Batman three times... I think the Hulk Coaster is my favorite roller coaster, my favorite ride is either "Muppet Vision 3-d)" or the Poisideon ride at Islands of Adventure.

I've only been to Six Flags Over Georgia, so I'll say Superman Ultimate Flight, Mindbender and Batman.

I've never been to any theme parks outside of Britain, but my favourite and its ranked one of the top ten in the world is Nemesis at Alton Towers.

Alton towers are restricted in that they cant build above tree height so they have to be creative with their rollercoasters. Nemesis was built into a cavern that was blown out of the ground. Its really tight and compact, the "blood" waterfalls coming out of the walls and the overall theming of the ride itself are amazing. I must have been on that ride about 30 times and it never gets old.

I went to Six Flags Great Adventure last summer and only got to go on three rides the whole day. Most of the day, I was waiting in line for the Superman ride. After hours of waiting, the ride lasted like a minute. Bummer.

^They all last about a minute, or 30 some seconds. The only ones that last longer are the non-roller coasters. I like some of those that go upside down, but no one ever wants to go with me...punk asses. :cmad:

havn't been to too many parks..but..

wood = texas giant (six-flags over texas)
steel = millenium force/raptor (cedar point)

That's easy, Millenium Force, Cedar Point. It travels 92 mph and stands 310ft. Top Thrill Dragster is also great, it's 420ft tall and it reaches the speed of 120 mph, yes, I did say that right.....

Millenium Force:

Standing a breathtaking 310 feet into the air, this "giga-coaster" will take thrill-seekers on an incredible 92-mph journey along 6,595 feet of track that winds its way through the center of the park, crosses a lagoon and dives onto an island.

Cedar Point has a ridiculous amount of roller coasters - 17, the most IN THE WORLD. Three of them are within the Top 10, not to mention them having one the largest wooden roller coasters in the world, the Mean Streak at 161ft.

Also, Part II of my favorite coasters, TOP THRILL DRAGSTER:

Riders begin their epic journey aboard this whopping 42-story screamer by securing themselves into ultra-cool trains that resemble top fuel dragsters. The train then moves into a "starting line" position, where it is launched forward, reaching 120 mph in approximately four seconds. The train then zooms straight up the 420-foot-tall hill on track that rotates 90 degrees, crests the coaster's apex and then free falls back to Earth. But hold on, this isn't your father's roller coaster. As the train races 400 feet to the ground, the track twists an unbelievable 270 degrees – what a rush! Riders then return to the station to begin regaling their friends with stories of the greatest ride of their lives.

Kenny wood is a local park in pittsburgh about an hour form me,they have a coaster called the steel phantom and its cool, they also have what was once the number one coaster in the world-the thunderbolt, its fun to.

I've spent time at King's Dominion in Virginia and that was a blast. Lagoon outside Salt Lake City has some okay coasters. I've also done Disney and Knott's Berry Farm back in the day. I've always wanted to visit Cedar Point, though. That place is mecca for roller coaster nuts. My wife and I have talked about maybe planning a vacation there just to ride coasters.
