Cole was a self righteous hypocritical cop and it was hypocrisy that was a major turnoff. Outside of that, he was rather bland and dry with not much in the way of an interesting personality. Not to mention, he was a coward. I didnt find much likeable about him towards the end og the game. Rockstar succeeded in cementing that he goes down as one of the worst videogame protagonist of all time

I agree. The affair really turned me off. It was also pretty cliche.
