Females the deciding factor in the console war?

I went up to Best Buy today and played a couple sample games on display, and was watching the Wii demo, and the kid that works there is like, "we won't have any Wii until next month, man, sorry." I was like, they sold that fast, huh? He says, "yeah, and get this, most of the people we sold it to were females." Nintendo did mention that they wanted this thing to crossover, and I was in class earlier this evening and heard several girls talking about getting one for themselves once they can locate one. That was the first time ever I heard a chick say that about any console, period. If Ninty plays this right, they could come out on top most assuredly if they get those niche areas that MS and Sony overlook due to cliche.

They managed to win around alot of girls and children with the Nintendo DS. Especially with Nintendogs.

I think Nintendo is the nicest of all the gaming companies. It seems like it is out to please the consumer, not just to grab people's money, like Sony.
