I think the principal shooting are in the Raleigh Studios.

Do we have any ideas where they are filming for the exterior scenes?

Or if they are going to be filming in the Santa Monica,Ca area again? Cuz if they are I am so getting spy photos for you guys.

has your friend in the movie department found anything new about the Iron Man movie?

Don't have a friend in the IM2 movie department.But if i do happen to see news regarding locations i'll post it.


Some new possible info on where they might be shooting (more 2nd unit?) courtesy of Canon Rumors. Wonder what this is for?

5D Mark II Firmware Update [CR1]

I’ve received informormation from a few folks that the new 5D Mark II firmware is on location on the Iron Man 2 set. Apparently the cameras are in Morocco at the moment.

btw you know how iron man 2 was filming over at masonic temple early this month. i went there late april talked to secruity told them i knew rdj (total lie, my mom used to) and he told me that they were they were filiming upstairs(not at the moment, but when they were there) and that they would be back to finish up but he doesnt know when so.......... ill keep check.

From yesterday

We've received a report about Iron Man 2 shooting at Edwards Airforce Base: "Filming began today. RDJ and Gwyneth were not here though. Not sure if anyone else was. They're supposed to be here tomorrow. Filmed near the base operations building using a bunch of T-38s, a couple of Global Hawks, a B-52, a C-17, a C-130 and a B-2, all sitting on the ground."

Second day, second report about the Edwards AFB shoot: "Not much to add to yesterday's filming. Don Cheadle and Sam Rockwell are on set. I was wrong about RDJ and Gwyneth being on set today. They're coming in tomorrow."
