The Final Destination is not the final chapter in the series.

Today, at ShoWest in Las Vegas, ComingSoon.net sat in on Warner Bros.' The Big Picture presentation during which the studio's Alan Horn confirmed a fifth "Final Destination" film is in the works.

Each film in the series continues to be a financial success for the company. The Final Destination, which hit theaters last year in 3D, grossed $66 million domestically but made $180 million worldwide.

The last entry's title sounded so definitive so we're curious to hear what they'll call the next film.

The Final Destination films just like the Saw films are really enjoyable, I love seeing the wacky inventiveness how the writers come up with quirky ways of people dying.

As long as they keep getting good I don't see why they can't continue with more sequels, they aren't as repetitive as other slasher flicks.

My vote is "Fin(anci)al Destination 5: The Search for More Money".

Seriously, even if the 3D was any good at all, (I did not see it in theaters) the 4th one was crap. Hell, even the third wasn't very good. The first two were the only ones I could really enjoy.
