So, I went and wiped my machine last night, and saved most of my stuff, including my Mozilla info. However, when reinstalling [and using my old files], I was having a minor issue. So, instead, I uninstalled and wiped my Firefox info, and just went with a fresh install of it.

Now, I have my old Firefox info stashed, still, on my desktop in a folder. But I don't know which file was my configuration file [the one that I could change under "about:config:"]. Google has been no help, nor has the Mozilla site. I REALLY don't wanna have to manually edit everything again. I don't have two hours to dedicate to it. :(

Thanks in advance.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

prefs.js

in c:/docs and settings/_____/application data/mozilla/firefox/profiles/randomcharacters.default

Thanks, but for some reason, it didn't work for me.

Ah, **** it. I'll waste the two hours re-configging.

yeah, i don't know how to use it as a backup, but i know that's the file

sorry bout that

Well, generally, that would work. When I had merely did the full overwrite earlier, it worked, but it prevented me from using cookies.

Thanks anyway.
