I am curious how others want the sequels to handle contunity with other
films.

I'd like to see at least an attempt made at continuity with X1 and X2; but it would make me very, very happy if they just scrapped X3 altogether and said it was a bad dream and tried again for a grand finale. Same with any continuity references to Wolverine.

As far as Jean and Scott being teenagers --- that continuity is already shot, since they made Jean Grey into a 30-something milf while Cyke was still in his, say, mid-20s. That would put Jean's teen years in the 80s and Scott's in the 90s.

Even though Halle Berry and Alan Cummings may have been fairly young when they took on their roles, both Storm and Nightcrawler are "ageless" enough to get away with putting them in a 70s (or even 60s) sequel (prequel...er, tween-quel...???). You might even get away with that for Colossus, and say something about the steelskin mutation slowing down his human skin's aging process.

In fact, I'd almost demand to see Nightcrawler in XMFC2. Have Azazel and Mystique hook up and Raven give birth to Kurt, and you've (finally) established a continuity that actually *agrees* with the comics for once.

Other than that, I'd like to see them introduce some of the also-rans who haven't really appeared in 70s and 80s XMFC sequels....

*Nightcrawler (see above)
*Colossus (ditto)
*Storm (ditto)
*Polaris (she's a natural to become a love interest for Banshee)
*Psylocke
*Gambit
*Jubilee
*Mimic
*Dazzler
*Domino
*Sunfire
*Sage
*Forge
*Thunderbird
*Cannonball and Husk
*Karma
*Wolfsbane
*Dani Moonstar
*Boom-Boom
*Sunspot

I'd also like to see Cable and Bishop come in together from the future, but not in XMFC2....I'd rather hold off on a "Days of Future Past" (so to speak, sorta the way they handled it in one of the animated series) until the third XMFC sequel.

I don't think Famke and James looked that far appart.

I want continuity maintained as best as possible with Singer's films. I don't think The Last Stand should be contradicted either as it wasn't a total failure. I've already forgotten about XO:W so I don't care about that.

I'm in two minds about introducing Scott and Jean in the First Class timeline, partially because of continuity, but also because there is already a great cast that could be developed further.

I am for As much as possable keep contunity with X-men and X2 combined with the one about Scott and Jean appearing in the sequel. It doesn't matter if they are younger 10 years. They are mutants after all, with mutated genes. They may all age different. For example Magneto was not that young in First Class (that took place in 1962) and yet he is well fit for battle and war in 2000.

I will not be surprised If they say X-men,and X2(Plus Last Stand If they want to try to
keep It In countinuity) took place In 1990's.It has been hinted both sequels could take
place In 1970's by Lauren shuller Donner. When asked about Cyclops and Jean showing up
she more or less said it might not be In next film.while James marsden Is younger than
famke Janssen I suspect they will be presented as being around the same age. It's
very easy to say they were In their 30's In X-Men/X2/Last stand(If Include it as well)
and If they took place In 1990's they could show up as teenagers In 1970's set
films.

I'd answer this poll but I don't understand the options. What the heck is "possable"?? Did you mean "possIble"? :P

Well for me X1 happened during the late 90s. So what they should do is introduce Jean, Cyclops, Storm as teenagers during the late 70s in Second Class or Third Class.

I firmly expect them to say the main X-Men films took place In 1990's.However I suspect
we won't be seeing Cyclops,Jean, and Storm till third film. However we may get a further
condition of The Last Stand and wolverine If we see how Xavier meet Teenage Scott, and
Jean and recruit them for school.with Jean they could say Xavier had been working with
her solo by coming to her home for a few years. But first Class showed Bryan singer and
Matthew Vaughn have no trouble conterdicting Last stand and Wolverine.
