It varies, as many of these things could have ties to multiple origins, but if there is a food or a meal that your family traditionally makes, or something that is pretty well known in your own culture, that you literally dry heave at the thought of having to eat, what say you? My granny used to cook all the classic "soul food" meals, which were not too shabby, but the one thing she made was fried okra, which turns my stomach to this day. The smell alone I can't stand, and tasting it....nah.
