I never actually came around to asking her out. I liked her, her close friends told me she liked me [we found all this out during the play we were in together]... We just never really saw much of each other after the play.

But who gives a **** about race? We're human.

Although sometimes I wonder if there's muscular structure/growth differences in other races, but that's another story.

I've dated an asian [that sucked] and another mexican/native american, and came reeeeeeeeeeeeal close to dating a black girl. Seriously, it's not any different from dating any other white girl. Hell, sometimes it's a good thing, because I'm seeing the "stuck-up, whiney white girl" stereotype coming out more and more lately.

My parents swear that I'm gonna break the bloodline.

But seriously i don't think most families are truly racist when it comes to other races, i think it's like you said, they feel as though the 'bloodline will somehow be changed. I think the big problem Blacks and Whites have with their family members dating each other is that because our features are so vastly different, compared to other races, it becomes highly visable when grand children start to come from such relationships, and probably feel a little embarrassed around their own social circles when it comes time to explain the different complexion of their new family member.

Well, my parents are kidding with me when they say that, predominantly because we're a purely white family [as far as we know], and my first "crush" as a child a black girl who cheerleaded for the Pop Warner football team I played on.

My siblings both picked up the same way... My sister's first boyfriend was a black guy, and my brother's first little crush as well was a black girl in his elementary class. Although, now, I'm the only one who still mainly dates outside of the white race.

When i was in the military, a friend and i vowed that we wouldn't get married until we had slept/dated every know race of woman on the earth; childish bet, but i was 18 at the time. I've slept/dated Asian, East Indian, Black, White, Hispanic, Icelandic and Ethiopian woman, and now that i'm married (to a woman of another race), i can tell you from experience, that there is no diffrence between woman, as a whole. Saying that one race of woman is better sexually, socially etc,etc is nonsense...so categorizing by race is highly over rated.

I used to have a lifetime goal of being with (at least) one lady from every single ethnicity I could think of. Hmmm...let me list:

I think that's it. But its all in the past now since I'm happily married to the bestest lady in the world. But hey, it should be everyone's goal...after all, we are the ****ing world right?

Just showing I wholeheartedly agree w/you. But there ARE differences with each woman I've been with...but they were on an individual basis.
