I've heard it many times, from many different races too.; **** i've even heard it from other Blacks.. ! People from other countries are warned before they come to America, that the Blacks are resposible for the majority of crime, Blacks are ignorant, etc,etc...so don't marry/date them. My wife is from Ethiopia, and that's what she told me she was told (lucky for me- and our 5 year old son- she's not as close minded as some others are). Plus it goes back to the dictionary defination of white and black. Black being defined as the 'opposite of white' and white being definted as 'pure, innocent,'...so you can do the math on that one yourself..

..then as a foreigner, if all you see on tv is Blacks acting rowdy, thugging,etc,etc what are you to think..?

Then last but not least, *sighs*, some Blacks themselves, give us all a bad look. They're just too ignorant to know it. I guess there's always a few rotten apples in the basket that make us all look bad,in ANY group of people, but when it comes to us Blacks, sometimes, i feel that our basket contains more than just a few rotten apples.

As a young good loking blackman myself, I never get discriminated against or discriminate against others, it helps to be educated, have the ability to not change but to adapt to any surrounding.......and to be good looking. White women, black women, Asian women, green women, pink, prurple, red...whatever it doesn't matter. If your game is tight the its all right.

But seriosly, people are people, no better no worse and that is what I underlyingly get through to people. Skin colour makes up 1/16 of the body which is pretty much nothing, so why should it be a big deal?

Thank you Tangled Web, for getting the point that RockSp didn't get. Being in the basket so to speakmyself, i said it feels that way. It's all around me. A state of mind. Not a statistical fact.

It just really saddens me, that we as Blacks, should be the most tight nit minority group in this country due to the many centuries of abuse under the horrors of slavery, yet, i'm more likely to get into a fight with, or killed by one of my 'brutha's' than a non-black....

Well not all black woman , just one particular woman who work at my local cinema. I mean every time I go there I alway end up having a long conversations with her.When I was in high school and college I did this alot as well, however I have never had a relationship with anybody of the oposite race.
