I would have really liked to have played a cover of Danny Elfman's theme from BATMAN. I remember in high school the school band playing Elfman's theme.

I've got a SKA version of said song.

Here's a list of my covers

That's not including all my game covers. That's even more.

Type O Negative playing Summerbreeze is perhaps one of the greatest covers ever.

Cot damn.

Fake edit: I think some of those are mislabeled as far as bands go. I've seen the same mistakes before. I think we got them from the same :ninja: completely legal :ninja: music services

My band played between films, at an ed wood film festival.
The set list included
Holiday Road ... National lampoon vacation
Back in Time ... Back to the future
The Future ... Natural Born Killers
Eastbound and down .. Smokey and the bandit
Oo-De-Lally ... Disneys Robin Hood
Earache in my eye ... Cheech and Chongs next movie
Tonight were gonna rock you ... Spinal Tap
and more
We got the gig and learned a completely new set all in a week. Some of it worked out some didnt. It was fun.

Yeah, they are. But it's okay, it's the music that counts.

Back in time sounds like it was fun. I take it you didn't derive much from the actual songs?

We are a 4 peice with one guy playing banjo much of the time, including on Back in time. Everything we cover is done with our own spin.

Dear Lord--I wish I could have heard that. It sounds genius.

Dont have a version of Back in Time to share, but this will give you the general idea. It gets mixed reviews, purest seem to have a problem with it. Their comments encourage us to do more. I guess any feedback is good, at least someone is checking it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jndpIJmhvYM

Ahem.

That's definately interesting...

Not bad, but it's kinda hard to fully appreciate the Banjo with the sound quality. But I do like the take on the song, particularly when you speed it up and fill it out for the chorus.
