For anyone who misses the TDK viral and wants to meet some of the puppetmasters behind the scenes, I was just told of an informal meeting/party of ARG peeps at 6pm tomorrow at the Elephant Bar in Burbank. (110 N 1st St)

I might be in that part of town, looting the local Linens N Things since they're going out of business. :oldrazz:

If you guys can't make it, there will be similar get-togethers in the future. But it would be mutually cool to meet some of those dudes. :word:

And I've also just found this link on a 42E guy's Twitter, titled "A little something for those who liked capes, cakes and capers"

Another puzzle? Anyone who's bored? :oldrazz:

It was - the unfiction guys solved it. The list was locations of roller coasters, in which the first letters of the coaster names led to a site - http://argda.org/mosaic.jpg. The image was the first poster released in the game (joker face and bloody bat symbol on the brick wall) made up of a mosaic of many or all of the photos submitted by us looking like the Joker to RDK, and was VERY well done. The image was huge - 35mb in size. It's no longer available, and I'm away from the computer where I have it stored so I can't upload it anywhere until next week.

Whee, that sounds fun! Yeah, could you upload it when you get the chance? :yay:

And I was the only one who showed up and I put all the cool stuff I remembered here: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=313416

If anyone can pm me that image, I´d be very thankful.

I wish I still lived in the area, I'd love to meet these guys and gals.

I'd also love to see the image!

I want to go to an ARGmeet. :csad:

Oh well, pick me up some swag. :oldrazz:

That was a lot of good info, and it definitely brings back the memories.

I've been able to access a smaller version of the mosaic poster that 42-E gave us a few weeks ago. I had resized the original to print out at 20x30" and had uploaded it to Walmart to possibly get a poster print, but since I found software that would do it, it wasn't necessary. The original was more than twice that size. But this version is still very good.

Thanks!

WOW that was a lot of photos. I think even more came in for the Dent campaign!

Can you or someone else upload it to a different site? It's acting funky for me and won't download :-(

For some reason I cannot download that photo, either.

Thanks for posting the alternative. I'm on vacation with my family, so computer time is minimal at best. :yay:

BTW, I know they used a good number of duplicates in the poster. I was able to find the pic I submitted exactly *1* time in the entire poster (and it wasn't easy trying to find it.) But, ONCE is better than NONE at all. :woot:
