The Dark Knight Found song called "The Dark Knight". Relevant?

I dont get why people are saying its fake. Its a real song by a real group, just titled The Dark Knight. Thats what it was titled on the OFFICIAL cd. Its probably just inspired by begins and was titled that before that was made the official name of the new movie

My thesis partner's friend (Tim ...., uses a bogus last name) is working on the score with Hans, and she has heard a bit of it from the background of her cell phone while talking to him. The guy won't let me hear it (well he was gonna play the new theme or something over the phone, but I wasn't going to be around when he was to do so =/), but did offer to let me speak to Hans (to which I passed out of fear lol). They've been working on the score in New York, although now I think they're in Boston. Anyway, I'll play this for her to see if she recognizes it, and she can always relay it to him.

I actually don't like it. It's got a "been here, done that" vibe for me, nothing distinctive. It actually reminds me in a way of The Rock with some pieces of Lost. And allthough I'm quite fond of the BB soundtrack, I always found Hans Zimmer's work a little too over the top and too obvious which always had an irritating and toe-cringing effect on me when seeing a movie.

Groove Addicts is a group of composers who score for trailers and other various projects like Immediate Music and X-Ray Dog. It's not uncommon for them to have movie themed titles. As I recall, Immediate Music had a track called "With Great Power..." though it wasn't related to Spiderman. However, I remember their more famous track Lacrimosa being used in one of the trailers for Spiderman 2.

Back in the UK, slightly ragged at the edges but otherwise unscathed. I had a good trip to LA, an amount of time was spent adding a little colour to the Frost Nixon score but the main event as ever was Dark Knight. Right now I'm working on sounds and developing ideas before returning to LA for the big push. I also got the green light for another Directors Cuts album, featuring on my radar very soon... details to follow.

i thought it would be the latter to be honest.. until i saw the prologue.. its a lot different. But by the end u can tell its on the same page as the begins score...

ive been busy messing around with the begins soundtrack seeing what i can come up with lol sort of a TDK mega mix from the best bits from the last score.. see what you think

Ok, so here's the story. Just got a bunch of trailer music from my friend. While searching through a folder of music, I found this song flat out titled "The Dark Knight". It's by the group Groove Addicts and it's supposedly from the album "Full Tilt Volume 2". They specialize in music for trailers. The beginning sounds very Begins like, though the chorus is much different. Was it inspired by Begins? Is it somehow related to the Dark Knight? Why is it called The Dark Knight? I can definately see how this was inspired by Begins.
And by fake, Risk, they mean not from Dark Knight.
I wouldn't hate for this to be in the movie someplace... it definately has a Nolan-esque feel to it.

With Great Power was used in the Spider-Man 3 leaked trailer. That's certainly not an indication that this track is legit; just that I found it funny because I was listening to some of IM's upon reading this and felt the need to chime in.

As far as the theme referenced here, it's OK. It sounds like more of an opening or build piece, rather than the main theme I imagined it to be. It's in the tone of the work featured in Begins with a slightly upped ante. It'll be good when we get some actual snippets of the score released.
