Frank TV is a new TBS sketch comedy show starring Frank Caliendo. Frank will be the host of the show and will also perform in sketches in full makeup as characters he will impersonate. Frank jokes he 'wanted the show to be called The Chappelle Show, [sic] but the lawyers wouldn't allow it'. TBS has already released clips of the show on their official website. TBS promoted the show heavily during their baseball coverage.
The first episode of Frank TV will premiere on November 20, 2007 and will be an hour long to showcase many of the impressions that Caliendo has worked on throughout his stand-up career as a comedian. The series reportedly will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and will also feature an array of sketches filmed in front of various sets to resemble the likes of popular TV shows, including Dr. Phil, Seinfeld, The Late Show with David Letterman, and many others.

Who else is tuning in? Unfortunately, due to the ongoing writers' strike, there will only be four episodes. It's really shame because TBS has been promoting the Hell out of this, and Frank Caliendo is a very funny man. Nonetheless, I'm going to enjoy what we get. :woot:

Frank Caliendo is hilarious.
His impressions are unbelievable.

When I found out about his new show, I was like "Hell yes, I'm so watching this."

I can't wait, should be good.

Did anyone else watch Frank Caliendo: All Over the Place tonight, though? It was on TBS from 10-11 EST.

He used a lot of old material, but there was some new stuff, and it was great. Sometimes, he would go off on an impersonation tangent, and it got pretty hard to keep up. :woot:

I'm a huge Frank fan, so I'll be watching and supporting the guy's show.

I'm definitely there. I love his DeNiro and Pacino impressions.

He does so many great ones.

Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Charles Barkley, Jack Nicholson, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Doctor Phil, Richard Dreyfus, Jeff Goldblum, Jay Leno, Shaggy and Scooby, Yoda, Grover (from Sesame Street), Terry Bradshaw, Pat Summerall, Al Michaels, and John Madden.

And I'm sure I've missed some.

Oh his Bush impressions are the BEST!

His impressions are pretty spot on. I usually dont watch TBS original programming, as Hose of Payne looks like the most obnoxious peice of **** ever. I might check this out.

The show sounds like it's going to be good. I'll tune in for the first episode.

I got sick of this show due to the promoting TBS did during the playoffs. But I just recently saw the Madden impersonation and laughed my ass off!! :D

I'm just pissed that, after all the promoting, we're only getting 4 episodes.

Stupid f***ing writers...

You're an idiot.

Well, technically the writers are the idiots...messing up the viewers shows. Then again, so are the producers.

Point is.

Writers/Producers = $$$
Viewers=:csad: ah, nothing but game shows and reality bull crap.

First episode was ok, his stand up is so much funnier though. Only part I really found funny was the John Madden stuff, probably because I still remember the first time I heard him talking about the Turducken and as he explained it he ripped it open with his bare hands.

It was okay at best. There's definitely potential, but the format is a little awkward. Clinton's Library was awesome, though.

the first episode was weak. I didn't laugh at all except for the Clinton library skit. Everything else was NOT FUNNY.

I actually thought the second episode was better.

But what I noticed is...if his guest host is randomly chosen, why is she already mic-ed? :woot:

So let me get this straight peoples idea of a great impressionist is a person that can wear makeup, & kind of sound like that person?

This guys is horrible...HORRIBLE!

I only saw the last 10 minutes but I did like the Al Pacino/Robert DeNiro movie review sketch. The reasons they gave to not go see the movies were hilarious.

Yeah, his John Madden is uncanny. That's about the only thing I've ever found funny about this guy.

Episode 3 = meh.

His Trump wasn't that great, and his Shatner didn't impress me.
